14.01.2022 eBay warning on this one. Customer had an issue with his car running roughly. His local mechanic did not know what was wrong so they fitted an EBay coil pack. Car would run and then miss. Then start and stop. The cars ECU computer was full of weird fault codes. So we had a look and realised this EBay part was causing all the problems and it was lucky it did not cause more problems and dry his computer. Buying stuff off EBay can work but you don’t always know the quality or the warranty. If there is a problem with what you buy it’s difficult to get your money back as they often charge you a fee. And if what you buy causes a problem then good luck getting satisfaction. The quality parts we use just don’t give problems. But if we do we have warranty. Car is now running perfectly. Owner is happy
