24.01.2022 URGENT NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS, PARENTS AND SUPPORTERS. Due to the escalating COVID-19 Virus situation and the closeness to the end of Term the NQJJA Club Executive have made the hard decision to cease training on Wednesday 25th of March 20. The NQJJA Executive are monitoring and responding to Government Health Advice. ... Due to the Virus we are unable to provide a confirmed recommencement date. We are hoping it will be at the end of April or early May. NQJJA have not made this decision lightly but have put the health and safety of all our members, families and supporters first. We ask that you continue to support the club and check our Facebook page regularly for updates on our training recommencement date. The Queensland Government provided $2,000 to North Queensland Jujitsu Academy to the COVID SAFE Active Clubs Kickstart program to enable Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation activities.

02.01.2022 As jujitsuka, we are literally very hands on with our art form. Whilst good hygiene practices should have always been observed at the very least as a court...esy to our training partners and club mates it’s now more important than ever. Most clubs have a range of demographics, and while you may be fighting fit, there are many who have underlying conditions, or may fall into an older demographic. Please: - wash your hands carefully and thoroughly before and after entering the facility/training; - practice good sneeze and cough hygiene; - stay away from your club if you feel unwell, have encountered someone at risk from COVID-19 within the last two weeks, or have been to a high risk area.
