18.01.2022 All SAINTERS, if you haven’t already signed up, please do so at Ritchies in North Ringwood. It’s extremely simple and the club will benefit significantly. They are doing a big push at the moment, so please if you are able, go in, register and the rest will take care of itself.

16.01.2022 One of the North Ringwood Football Club community is standing for council election in the Yarrunga ward. Andrew Schafer is a sponsor of the club, as well playi...ng in 2 premierships with the Veterans side in 2016/2017. Andrew’s son also plays for the North Ringwood Saints in the under 17’s. Andrew is passionate about the local community and the role sporting clubs play. If elected, Andrew has committed to continue the amazing upgrades at Quambee, with Major Renovations to the Quambee Pavillion, which will include upgrading the clubrooms as well as another set of changerooms, to accomodate our growing woman’s competition. Go Saints

15.01.2022 Good afternoon All Sainters, The ground and surrounds are coming along well and have a completion date of August 31st. It’s taken a little longer than expected, but with the current situation, they have all the time they need,... We hope everyone is coping well at this difficult time. I am having a chat to Martin Heppell from The Resilience Project via Zoom tonight and will have this posted in the next few days. Martin will give his thoughts on the current situation and how we can get through it together, safe and sound. I’d like to thank everyone involved in the recent video. I found it very powerful listening to various people describe there love for the club and what it means to them. Keep in contact with family and friends and help each other through this.

14.01.2022 We have been asked if we are able to get our hands on some more wine, both red and white. Apparently from all reports the wine is very good and we have been asked if we can purchase some more. Short answer ‘yes’.... We will place another order in a week. No payment required yet, just a commitment required. If you missed out the first time or you would like to order more, please send me an email or text. Great for gifts too with Christmas coming up, or keep for sentimental reasons. Thanks again everyone for your ongoing support. GO SAINTS

14.01.2022 Grass is mostly down, looking fantastic. With the wild weather over the weekend and a heap of rain , the ground has held up extremely well, with the ground n...ot even soft under foot and the drainage working perfectly. Should be completed tomorrow. Changerooms are nearly done, so I’ll send a clip in the coming days. Light towers should be up just after Easter. Hope everyone is staying safe.

11.01.2022 Last day to enter

10.01.2022 Dear Sainters As we are all aware a lot of things have been put on hold and in hibernation to a later date but one thing that can't be put on hold and more importantly one thing that we cannot forget about and that is for all of us to pay our respect this ANZAC Day to all the men and women who served and died in all wars, conflicts & peacekeeping operations, to allow us to live as we do today in our great country. We may not be able to buy our ANZAC badges or attend a dawn se...rvice on Saturday but we can do what is all over social media and on the news and that is to all stand at the end of our driveway just before dawn (6am) and stand for a minute silence. Yes we are living in tough times at the moment but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter each day and on Saturday we need to put all our troubles behind us and think about and reflect what these brave men and women went through as they fought for the Australian Flag. For the last 3 years, our great friend from the Ringwood RSL, David Kelly has come down to Quambee to present our Senior boys with their ANZAC Jumpers (Donated by the Victorian RSL) and also to help us run our ANZAC Day ceremony before the start of our Senior match. David served one year with the Engineers in Vietnam at Nui Dat during in his 3 years of National Service and is now on the committee at the Ringwood RSL. David loves coming down to our club and has made a lot of friends with our players and members and due to not being able to come down this year, David has made a video (use link below) and recited The Ode for all in our Saints community. (Photo is David and the players, when he presented them their jumpers in 2018) [email protected] On behalf of the Committee, Life Members, Players, Members and Sponsors at North Ringwood Football Club, can i just say THANK YOU David for doing this, it means a lot to all of us and while you are not able to spend the day with your mates on this very important day, we all still hope the day is special and that you can all catch up soon to knock back a few cold ones. The Ode They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. LEST WE FORGET
