17.01.2022 The REAL story each so often we would like to visit an issue that is affecting Australian agriculture. The one that is grinding gears, making headlines and gett...ing alot of attention at the moment is the Murray darling basin and the assumption from under educated people on the subject that the reason all the rivers and dams are empty and in such a dire situation is because of so called "greedy" farmers "stealing" water from the environment which we all know is completely false there has been absolutely zero significant inflows into the system in the past 2 years and in the northern areas much longer then that yet the under educated on the subject seem to think the farmers have stolen and are hording all this mythical water and the record must be set straight. So what we are looking for is farming families of Australia to post pictures to the page of the river systems in your area and your farms with these storages with all this so called "water" with a little speal of how THE WORST DROUGHT in history has affected your property there needs to be some education done into how irrigation is regulated and controlled within the MDB. And that farmers just cant take what they want, and they must do the best with what they are allocated and if the best return per ML is cotton or rice so be it. Everyone wears cotton jocks, eats steak and rice!!! The sooner people wake up and see that without agriculture Australia wouldn't survive we all gotta eat!!!!
