20.01.2022 It’s the thing I’ve sat in since I was four years old. It’s the thing that has taken me around school yards, uni campuses and work places. It’s the thing that ...people see and think is the worst thing could happen to me. It’s the thing that people think stops me from going places or participating in everyday activities or makes people stare. Despite the stares, the inaccessible places (their fault, not mine) and the misguided pity comments, it’s one of my favourite things! Life would be very immobile with out it Happy International Wheelchair Day!
