09.01.2022 While we are meeting under different circumstances due to renovations and COVID restrictions, we are celebrating a 150th! Of course it is somewhat ironic that as we celebrate the opening of our church building in 1870, the main sanctuary is currently closed! Closed for a good purpose, of course, as these renovations will help it to go on for another 150 years in good shape. This time last year we looked forward to holding a special 150th celebration in the church, but 2020 has turned out to be unlike anything we could have imagined!

01.01.2022 A Statewide Code Red has been activated from Monday 25 February to Saturday 2 March for people sleeping rough in South Australia. The following services in Adel...aide will be extending hours and providing Code Red support: Westcare (Baptist Care SA) 11/19 Millers Ct Adelaide will be open Monday to Wednesday 9am 7pm. Open overnight from Thursday 28 February to Saturday 2 March ( no admittance after 7pm- closed for cleaning between 7am and 9am those days) Trace-A-Place (SYC) 135 Currie St Adelaide, will be open from 9am to 7pm, Monday 25 February to Friday 1 March. Hutt St Centre 257 Hutt St Adelaide, will be open from 7am to 5pm, Monday 25 February to Wednesday 27 February. Street to Home will be providing additional outreach services to people sleeping rough. In regional areas, services are available to assist people who need help during the extreme heat by contacting the Homelessness Gateway service on 1800 003 308. The Homelessness Gateway Service will continue to operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Anyone who is sleeping rough is encouraged to contact the gateway on 1800 003 308. #codered
