08.01.2022 Musica Viva Musica Viva is named after Mrs. Edith Dubsky (a resident in this apartment for 30 years after she left her homeland of Austria) who set up within these walls the framework of the present day Australian Musica Viva experience. It is said many of the world’s musicians and ensembles have rehearsed here. It is even recorded in Adelaide’s Heritage Bible, Heritage of the City of Adelaide. (Page 292) Originally, however the magnificent large wood-panel led and til...ed hearth room was the Games Room complete with Billiard Table The kitchen and bathroom were a part of the large Ballroom extending from the northern part of the Manor, hence the fireplace in the kitchen The present bedroom was the master bedroom to the whole manor. The lovely half-tester bed with original porcelain was bought by Rodney and Regina Twiss in Montville in 1992 in Queensland.

14.12.2021 Great State Vouchers Are Back Another two rounds of GSV’s will be in use from February! With 160,000 vouchers up for grabs across both rounds - it is the biggest release yet!... Launching in February, vouchers of $100 will be available for use on accommodation in Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide (postcodes 5000 and 5006), and $50 for accommodation in suburban Adelaide and regional South Australia. The travel period for accommodation vouchers will commence on February 16 2022, so voucher holders can make the most of Adelaide's festival season - including the Adelaide Fringe.
