09.01.2022 As part of our standard procedure during COVID-19, and to ensure our patients receive the best and most appropriate prehospital care, our Crews will be asking all patients if they have any flu like symptoms. This is to protect our amazing Volunteers and our Community of Northam against the spread of any potentially infectious illness including COVID-19. When calling for an Ambulance, you will be asked by the 000 call taker if you have flu like symptoms. When our crews arrive,... they will ask you the same questions. Please don’t be scared to answer truthfully, even if you think you just have a mild cold. We have strict hygiene measures in place to keep you and our crews safe. Our goal is to help our community stay safe and stop the spread - but we can’t do that without our resilient and fantastic Community behind us. Stay safe Northam! The St John Team
