04.01.2022 Did you know? Northampton DHS has become a deposit site for the "Containers 4 Change" program and have set up 2 collection points on the school site to collect ...donations from the community. There is a collection cage at the south entrance to the school, adjacent to the Rams Oval car park and a collection wool bale at the roller doors for students as they exit the buses. All 8 different types of containers are accepted. They will be sorted by our farm students and taken to the Northampton Men’s Shed refund site, which is located at the Northampton Railway Precinct. It is proposed the Northampton refund point will be open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Until that happens the school will store all the containers. Any useable glass containers can be dropped off to the school during school hours, but for safety reasons we request that they are not sent to school on the buses with students. Thanks to the kind support of the Horrocks Community Centre and the local community, we have raised already raised $266.18, which will be spent on the students of Northampton DHS. See more

26.12.2021 This is a really interesting post, but a hugely important one, written by a child psychologist. We are so busy, all the time. While we are often with our kids, carting them around to their activities or doing all the things needed to keep a family going, how often could you say that you spend quality, one on one time with your child, doing something of their choice? Where you are fully present and engaged with them? As a busy working mum, I can honestly say I don't do this nearly enough, yet I reap the benefits in the relationship capital I create when I do spend individual time with my girls. This is as important for your teens as it is for your little ones.

11.12.2021 Put away your uniforms early! Free dress last day of school, next Thursday!
