18.01.2022 The team had a busy Monday after being called out to a incident near Little Bay, 2 members went on to assist Kalbarri whilsy the rest of the crew were stood down whilst on route. Back to the shed for a training session in the evening where Brent our new AO came up and assisted with prepping members for their Structural fire fighting course which will be held in Geraldton this weekend. One things for sure, It certainly was a challenge getting the leg locked onto the ladder wearing level 2 gear...

15.01.2022 Off road driving course completed by NVFRS team member James Williams recently. Volunteers from local brigades attended the course in Geraldton where they were taught to drive on soft sand, how to avoid getting bogged and how to recover stranded vehicles.

Please check the notice below regarding firebreaks, burns and permits, each household would have recieved a copy of this from the shire already. The team has turned out to a couple of 000 calls in town already and its only October. Lets stay safe!!

Well done to ...the attending fire crew & thanks to our Northampton VFRS & WAPOL mates for backup. We wish the family in the unit a happy time for the rest of their holiday.
