24.01.2022 Farmer Tom sampling the bean crop @themandarinbend. Nice and crunchy! @themandarinbend and @harvest.owl both grow green beans for our co-op. We nailed the timing perfectly with @harvest.owl having a gap between crops and @themandarinbend crop coming on strong harvesting this week! Still time to order until 3pm tomorrow for Wednesday delivery. We don’t have a huge diversity but your support means a lot to us right now as we recover from the rains and floods. #eatlocal #beans #organic #nambuccavalley #midnorthcoastnsw
24.01.2022 North Arm farms shop is delayed this week. Waiting for the rains to pass until we can get out into the gardens. This week the shop will open 3pm Tuesday for orders, for a delivery Friday. Will return back to normal next week (hopefully). Here’s a little pic from @themandarinbend deck with the Nambucca river rising in the distance and water pooling in our soon the be garlic patch. Thankfully we’ve had minimal damage so far. Stay dry y’all
23.01.2022 Smooth day in the packing shed. We are back in the rhythm now and packing like a well oiled machine! Still waiting for our veggies to recover from all the rain so we have the super abundant spread we pride ourselves on again... thanks for all sticking with us and supported us this week!

14.01.2022 We are really excited to be selling pasture raised eggs from @chef2farmer_atlittleeden! Todd and his family are farming down near Port Mac, right next door to Toms old parents place! We’ve known Todd for a while now and it’s been great to watch his transition from chef and cafe owner to full time farmer. We’ve seen first hand their rotational grazing of chooks and the positive effects it’s having on building & restoring soil on his farm. The chooks always have access to fresh... pasture and he moves them every three days. The chooks come through after the cattle are rotated and they scratch around, spreading manure and eating any worms or insect pests, while further fertilising the area. 11.01.2022 Look at us all happy in the pack shed last Wednesday, before the rain really arrived, our first week back! What a wild ride since then! Rain seems to be easing today so we are ready to give it another go but we’ve changed the delivery to FRIDAY this week... to give the plants a chance to recover and dry our. 03.01.2022 The first heads of broccoli for the year from @themandarinbend were online today! Limited amount today but as the weather cools we will have more. We can push crop seasonal boundaries quite a bit in our local climate, however broccoli is one of those crops that doesn’t like to be pushed! We’ve tried but it’s never worth the effort. For us,it’s a cool weather crop, that’s that. We are happy to see it back on the menu over the winter months. There’s plenty of other veggies still available online. Order now for Wednesday delivery!
02.01.2022 We are a little light on in the shop for the coming weeks as our gardens were knocked about by the rain. Will take us some weeks to recover, but luckily we’ve got some other treats to get us all through...Happy to announce that we have potatoes back! We got freshly dug organic Dutch creams from Ian in Guyra last week. We’ve missed these badly, they’re so delicious!! Also stocking @yamstickfarm organic eggs and Picket hill avocados from valla are also back on the menu. A few lucky folk last week also scored last finger bananas! Hope to have these back again soon.
