24.01.2022 This happened today in our region - please keep an eye out for this vehicle.

24.01.2022 Yep - that is the entire state of NSW without a single fire burning. The sun might not be shining but for us that makes for a very Happy Christmas - and very different to last year! Wishing you a fantastic Christmas from all of us at North Bellingen RFB.

23.01.2022 We're only sitting a High Fire Danger Rating today, but it's very dry out there, so permits will remain suspended until further notice.

23.01.2022 Some important changes coming to Fires Near Me later this week. It's part of the move across to an Australia-wide warning system - expect to see more changes over coming months. More info here: https://youtu.be/JLAO3vdYB2M

20.01.2022 Severe fire danger rating today, so we're at the station ready for immediate response to any incidents. Using the time to give the trucks a good clean

18.01.2022 If you check Fires Near Me right now you'll see a fire down the end of Darkwood Road. We were responded there yesterday afternoon - but you can't go too fast when you get towards the end of the road! This is 25km down Darkwood Road. The good news is that between Darkwood and North Bellingen we got the fire under control, with Darkwood crews actively monitoring it today. We also got to check out a stunning part of the world.

13.01.2022 We might have a heap of rain on the way right now...but the fire risk will be back again. This is a great time to make sure you've got a plan ready, and know how to access (and use) crucial information. Local brigades have put together a couple of short videos to explain what you can do now to make sure you are ready when a fire approaches.

06.01.2022 North Bellingen members received their Premiers Citation this morning from Inspector Michael Brougham and Group Officer Cliff Last. Thanks was given to all members who volunteer their time, and to the families behind the scene that support their members heading off to respond whenever community needs our help.
