24.01.2022 All the best to our U20's and First Team this weekend. Get out and support them in their quest for a Grand Final spot! Arlington Oval from 1.30pm Sunday. http://www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php

23.01.2022 Good luck to fellow State League 1 side Hakoah Sydney City East FC tonight in their FFA Cup match against Palm Beach Sharks (QLD). View live streaming of the match here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6VmulHNFKQ

22.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to our State League Under 20's who last night wrapped up the Premiership in their make-up game against Inter Lions. This talented squad has now finished in the top 2 for two seasons running. Well done Coach Matt Sawers, Captain Jack Grant and all those who contributed to the teams success. Enjoy the week off and go and get the double!

22.01.2022 It was a mixed day of results in what was Northbridge's last game of the season at 'The Oval'. The U18's belted their opposition scoring 4 unanswered goals in a commanding display of attacking football. The goals continued to flow in the U20's with Northbridge recording a 5-0 win in warm conditions. Unfortunately the First Team could not hold up their end of the bargain losing 2-1 to fellow top 5 team Granville Rage. Jamie Collins getting his first goal of the season early in the first half. The Bridge are away next week against Inter Lions. http://www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php

20.01.2022 The Bridge featured in this weeks Match of The Round, at home against fellow title contenders Hakoah FC. There was a great atmosphere at the ground with well over 400 people in attendance. Unfortunately the Bridge were not able to end the day on a positive note with Hakoah extending their lead in the Club Championship. Under 16's: 2-2 draw. Under 18's: 5-1 loss. Under 20's: 3-1 loss. First Team: 3-2 loss. (Walker, Babington)... Read the FNSW Review:- http://www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php All SL teams will have to bounce back this week in order to continue their title, or finals push.

19.01.2022 Well done to Matt Alessi who made his First Team starting debut against Hakoah on the weekend. It was great having Agneesh Lahiri back in the side as well. Two real Northbridge First Team stars of the future!

17.01.2022 The Under 16's got the day off to a great start winning 3-1 against Dulwich Hill at historic Wentworth Park. The Under 18's lost by the same score line while the Under 20's recovered from their loss last weekend, to put 4 unanswered goals past one of their rivals. The First Team again began slowly, a common theme this season and were 2-0 down before getting back to 2-2 via Cole and Babington. In a frantic last 10 minutes, the Bridge again fell behind before Babington rescued a point via a looping header from a pinpoint Jamie Collins pass. The Bridge were not able to take advantage of Hakoah's slip up and remain 11 points off top spot. Next weeks away match against Gladesville Magic now a 6 pointer with both teams on equal points in 2nd spot. Round 18 Review:- http://www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php

16.01.2022 In the away clash against Stanmore Hawks which took place at Poppondetta Park, Northbridge had a mixed bag of results. U16's: 2-2 draw U18's: 3-0 loss U20's: 4-2 win First Team: 4-1 win ... Oli Babington opened the scoring midway through the first half with a great strike from outside the box. Lewis Walker scored just before half-time off a delightful Mitch Lensink cross. Paul Orgad scored an early 1 on 1 in the second half after some great hold up play by Michael Cole while the latter mentioned scored a late goal of his own to ensure the 3 points. The First Team have now won 6 games straight heading into a home game against Camden Tigers. http://www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php

15.01.2022 The Bridge were at home on Sunday afternoon in what was an intense battle against Balmain FC. The Under 16's got the ball rolling with a gritty 2-1 victory. There was something in the air once the Under 18's kicked off as they managed to thump their opposition 8-1. The goals continued to rain for the Bridge as the Under 20's claimed an 8-2 victory, stretching their winning streak to 6* games (pending one result against Inter Lions). In the main event, the Bridge came from beh...ind on 3 occasions throughout the afternoon showing their fighting spirit and resolve against a determined Balmain outfit. The final score an incredible 4-4. No wonder Joe Haywood doesn't have any hair left.. Michael Cole grabbed himself a unique hat-trick, scoring 3 penalties while Mitch Lensink almost ripped a hole through the net with a trademark half volley which left the goal keeper stranded. An improved team performance while be required when the State League Men travel to Bathurst this Saturday to face a side who's confidence is sky high after some impressive results of late. On behalf of all involved in the State League setup, I'd like to wish Lee Jones a speedy recovery from surgery. Below is the Round 15 FNSW Review:- http://www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php

14.01.2022 For the second week running, Northbridge FC were unbeaten in their weekend State League clash. Away at Nepean on a cold Saturday evening, the Under 16's got the ball rolling with a 2-1 win. The Under 18's were gallant in their 0-0 draw while the Under 20's, clearly back in top form, won by 2 goals to nil. In the late game, the First Team were dealt an unusual hand with Nepean having two players sent off inside the first 20 minutes. Struggling to break the opposition down, a late Ricky Woodward goal secured all 3 points for the away side. The Bridge have also managed to make ground in the Club Championship, 11 points now the difference. 13.01.2022 Round 22 had arrived as the Bridge welcomed Hawkesbury City to Northbridge Oval. The Bridge were relishing the chance to play one last game at the Oval in 2014. Unfortunately the day started off with two losses, the U16's going down 2-1 and the U18's 4-1. The usually attacking U20's could only manage a 0-0 draw in their match. By the time the First Team had taken the field, a huge crowd was present to witness what can only be described as a nail biting affair. The Bridge winn...ing 4-3 with the last kick (header) of the game to send the crowd, fans and team into a frenzy! A result that was fitting for Club legend Sean Eardley who now departs Australian shores to return home. The team raised Sean onto their shoulders and sang the team song in Sean's honour. All those in the State League setup would like to wish Sean all the best with his new adventures and remind him that the Bridge will always have it's arms open to him and the Eardley family. 07.01.2022 Tomorrow's matches see The Bridge come up against their respective 2013 Grand Final opponents in the form of Dulwich Hill (U20's) and Balmain (First Team). With both teams losing their Grand Finals, they will be out for revenge, as well as having a 2014 Grand Final spot in their sights. So far in 2014, the U20's have managed to humble their opponents 4-0 on both occasions whilst the First Team have won 3-0 and were held to an unbelievable 4-4 draw against Balmain this season. All the best to both teams. Your support would be much appreciated.

02.01.2022 The Bridge were at home against Camden Tigers on Sunday afternoon. The day started off on a positive note with the Under 16's winning 2-0. This was followed by a 1-1 stalemate in the Under 18's. The Under 20's fired on all cylinders winning 6-0. While the First Team made it 7 wins on the bounce with a 2-1 victory. Oli Babington scored midway through the first half and Michael Cole bagged himself a goal barely 90 seconds into the 2nd half. Crucially, Northbridge reduced the g...ap in the Club Championship to just 17 points.
