23.01.2022 A message from Willougby Council: Playgrounds, outdoor gyms, skatepark and the BMX track are closed. Following the Prime Ministers announcement last night, weve closed playgrounds, outdoor gyms and exercise equipment, Chatswood skatepark, the BMX track at Northbridge and Northbridge Baths. The federal government has limited public gatherings to two people. Our parks remain open, however, social distancing is still essential. Weve put up signage about social distancing at o...ur parks. Artarmon Oval re-opening early The upgrade works at Artarmon Oval including re-surfacing, dra inage and irrigation are almost complete and well be re-opening earlier than planned. Weve had several requests from our community asking for more open space to exercise since gyms and organised sports have been suspended. Mostly we have seen our community adhere to government advice and be responsible, however, it was disappointing over the weekend to see that community members pulled apart the temporary fencing to gain access and use the oval and cricket nets and disregard social distancing advice. Until the fencing is removed on 3 April, please do not use the oval as the upgrades are not quite finished. It remains a dog off leash area. Tennis Courts Our tennis courts are closed on advice from Tennis NSW and state government. This includes: - Cleland Park, Artarmon - 52 Fuller Rd Chatswood - Cortile Reserve Castlecrag - Talus St Reserve, Naremburn - Bonds Corner courts Northbridge - Kooroora Reserve, Chatswood - The Willis, East Chatswood - Tyneside Ave, Willoughby Parking Our rangers are focused on infringements related mainly to public health and safety such as red sign offences including no stopping, no parking and double parking. We will ensure loading zones and truck zones are clear so that essential deliveries can run smoothly. Another priority is to ensure parking spaces for people with disabilities are properly used. 16.01.2022 Special thank you to our five (5) Senior teams that competed in 2019 Grand Finals. As a cohort, Northbridge Netball Club were able to donate a total of $480 to The Brain Cancer Group in lieu of receiving Trophies, which was much appreciated. Brain cancer remains the biggest cancer killer of children and teenagers under 15 years, adults under 39 years and is the second biggest cancer killer (behind breast cancer) of females 0-44 Years.... It is a not-for-profit organisation and depends on the community for funding and support of its Research, Education and Patient Support. 16.01.2022 2020 NSNA WINTER NETBALL SEASON SUSPENDED TILL FURTHER NOTICE SORRY. Dear NSNA Community As youre aware, our 2020 Season is suspended until further notice from the Government who will advise a date it is safe to resume team sport activities in the wake of COVID-19. When we are advised of a date we will mobilise quickly and bring you a 2020 netball season. Currently the Public Health Order stating no events over 500 people is in place until 23 June however, as youd be awar...e, this situation changes daily and we live in hope it might be repealed earlier. Netball NSW have advised they will provide an update on 15 April at which time we will all be better positioned to know more with regard to finances as we all wait to see how the situation surrounding COVID-19 evolves. Should social distancing and crowd congregation bans extend beyond 23 June 2020 then we will reassess how the competition would look and already have a few ideas and are poised to mobilise swiftly as soon as the Govt informs us. Should we not even be able to run a comp of more than 8 weeks we will work with clubs to refund the NSNA component of fees from 2020. NNSW have not at this stage released any information regarding the refunding of their fees, but we will keep you informed as information is released. Clubs will also no doubt be advised via Service NSW about the protocol around Active Kids rebates paid. To date no information has been released surrounding this, but again as we receive information, we will continue to share with all of you. There are many planned calendar events that are now postponed until further notice we will continue to update our members with information as it comes to hand. 11.01.2022 Given last weeks announcement by the NSW Government and the further announcement made this morning by the Acting Sports Minister regarding the return of community sport from 1 July for ALL ages, NSNA are excited to let you know: 1. Assuming the restriction on the number of attendees at a public event is lifted by 17 July we will re-start the season for ALL age groups on Fri 17/Sat 18 July. We will likely have team and spectator limits to adhere to restrictions (see point 2 ...below) but please have your players put this starting date in their diaries. 2. Once we know more about gathering numbers will be able to give you a full outline of the season including any Covid19 parameters we will need to have in place such as spectator numbers etc. Our intention is to provide this update by 19 June 2020 or earlier pending incoming advice. So everyone make a note in your diaries we are set to start 17/18/19 July for Juniors, Cadets, Seniors & our NETSETGO! Thank you

06.01.2022 Welcome to the 2019 Netball Season.our Net Set Go Registrations are now open! Reminder: You can redeem your $100 ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER as Northbridge Netball Club is a provider. Trainings are held each Monday afternoon from 4:00pm to 5:00pm commencing 4 March 2019, at the Bi-Centennial Netball Court, Small St Willoughby (outdoor Courts). Games are played over two (2) Venues in North Sydney (The Greens & North Sydney Girls High School) on Saturday 6 April.... Game times vary from 8:00am to 1:00pm, but they will be the same time each week except after Round 7, where we regrade the teams, based on abilities. Northbridge Netball Colours are RED & WHITE and our players wear the A-Line Dress (Purchase direct from the Club $65) Players are to supply their own Black shorts. We also have new Club Hoodies which can be purchased from the club. Net Set Go is a learning division playing modified netball. We heavily rely on parent involvement to Manager, Coach & Umpire the teams. (We really need volunteers so please consider taking on these essential roles) We accept players aged from 7 to 9 Years ( Age as at 31 Dec 2019) We accept friend group requests and individual players. Note: If you have a whole team (minimum 8 or 9 players to a maximum 10 Players) plus your own Manager, Coach & Umpire we will more than happy to accept the whole team, but kindly email Marie so we ensure we register the team correctly. 01.01.2022 NORTHBRIDGE NETBALL CLUB END OF SEASON TROPHY PRESENTATION is scheduled for SUNDAY 26 NOVEMBER 2017 commencing at 4:00PM to 5:30pm at the NORTHBRIDGE GOLF CLUB in the HARBOURVIEW FUNCTION ROOM (This will be a Trophy presentation only) We invite a player from each Team to speak about the Teams 2017 season. Plus this is a great opportunity to thank our Players, Coaches, Team Managers and umpires for their support throughout the season.... All players will receive a trophy and a take home treat! 01.01.2022 Given last week’s announcement by the NSW Government and the further announcement made this morning by the Acting Sports Minister regarding the return of community sport from 1 July for ALL ages, NSNA are excited to let you know: 1. Assuming the restriction on the number of attendees at a public event is lifted by 17 July we will re-start the season for ALL age groups on Fri 17/Sat 18 July. We will likely have team and spectator limits to adhere to restrictions (see point 2 ...below) but please have your players put this starting date in their diaries. 2. Once we know more about gathering numbers will be able to give you a full outline of the season including any Covid19 parameters we will need to have in place such as spectator numbers etc. Our intention is to provide this update by 19 June 2020 or earlier pending incoming advice. So everyone make a note in your diaries we are set to start 17/18/19 July for Juniors, Cadets, Seniors & our NETSETGO! Thank you
