22.01.2022 We advise that we now have flu vaccines in stock for patients aged between 5 and 64 (inclusive). Flu vaccines are $25 for patients with a valid Medicare card, or $45 for those with no Medicare. Some patients qualify for a free flu vaccine (see below for details). We do not currently have these vaccines in stock, but once the government delivers them to us we will send a separate SMS reminder to eligible patients. We are not able to take bookings for government funded vacci...nes until the stock has has arrived, as we have no control over delivery dates. We’ll post updates about flu vaccine availability on our website’s News section, or you can like our clinic on Facebook to stay updated. With the current COVID-19 pandemic, it will be particularly important to try to stop the spread of flu this winter. These include vaccines for HPV, diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough for Year 7s, and meningococcal ACWY for Year 10s. ... 02.01.2022 North Brighton Medical is now able to send patients electronic presciptions (also known as eScripts). If you need a presciption, then during your consultation (especially if you have a phone consult), your GP will be able to SMS or email you a link to a QR code, known as a "token". Then, you simply take your smartphone to a local pharmacy (provided that they have eScripts enabled, which most do), and they will scan the token and then fill your prescription.... Easy!
