19.01.2022 Our Recipe of the Month is this DELICIOUS Mexican Quinoa! INGREDIENTS ... -1 tablespoon coconut oil -2 cloves garlic, minced -1 jalapeno, minced -1 cup quinoa -1 cup vegetable stock -1 can black beans, drained and rinsed -1 can diced tomatoes -1 cup corn kernels -1 teaspoon chilli powder -1/2 teaspoon cumin -1 avocado, halved, seeded, peeled and diced -Juice of 1 lime DIRECTIONS -Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and jalapeno, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minute. -Stir in quinoa, vegetable broth, beans, tomatoes, corn, chili powder and cumin; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until quinoa is cooked through, about 20 minutes. -Stir in avocado, lime juice and cilantro. Recipe by @damn_delicious
19.01.2022 Start your day with this yummy and healthy Banana Brekkie Pancake!! If it flips well, its going to be a good day! Ingredients: 75g Banana 2 eggs... 25g tablespoons oats Cinnamon 25g blueberries 75g Greek yoghurt Method: Process bananas, eggs and oats in a blender until combined Grease a fry pan with coconut oil on medium heat Add banana mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon and blueberries. Once blueberries start giving off steam, flip pancake and turn off heat. Leave until cooked through. Serve with yoghurt on top. ENJOY! Recipe by Filipe Da Silva ( @filipe_florindo )

For the health of our bodies and our planet its time to get back into eating seasonal. This winter think of warming pumpkin and sweet potato soup, roasted root vegetables, silky cauliflower and celariac mash, steamed broccoli, sauted onions with cabbage and citrus fruit for snacks.

It is the biggest single cause of disability on the planet, with one in four adults estimated to suffer from back pain during their lives. Prevention is therefore key and this years World Spine Day will be encouraging people to take steps to be kind to their spines.
