25.01.2022 https://hiddenvaleadventurepark.rezdy.com///special-events To celebrate International women's MTB Day in May co coordinators of various SEQ womens MTB FB pages have teamed up with HVAP to create a fantastic day dedicated to riding your bike. North Brisbane Dirt Girls are getting a gang together and join in the fun! The above link above takes you to HVAP event page, then click on "special events" tab and purchase your ticket. There will be three ride options, 15km, 25km and ...35km, with the aim to get everyone together, ride the amazing Hidden Vale trails, then chill out, have a beer, coffee, lunch and hang out together for a while. We are aiming to have local MTB related businesses there and will also be showcasing the women's events planned for SEQ in 2020. It is hoped that this will be an annual event, so please head over to the registration page so that we can monitor the numbers and arrange ride leaders, snags etc. See more

22.01.2022 We are looking at purchasing Jerseys for our Ladies Group. Attached is the design for the Jerseys. We are looking at purchasing 2 types of Jerseys. A long sleeve style and a Short Sleeve Jersey with a front zipper and 3 pockets at the rear. 21.01.2022 Super Fun Ride... Super Cool Chicks!!!

21.01.2022 Almost an epic fail... First ride back after the BIG rain with fellow dirt Girl when disaster struck...we were letting a little air out of the tyres of our trusty steeds for our Kombi descents to find the cap of one of the valves had fused together so to our horror we ended up screwing the whole valve out of the tyre... instant flat!! In the middle of the bush and no plyers to get the little cap bastard off!! A quick call to a fellow bike whisperer who informed us that if you popped the thread section on a log or concrete edge you can hold it with your shoe and screw the cap straight off!! It then screws straight back in and after a little bit you have a pumped up tyre and can hit the tracks... tip thanks to Benn

06.01.2022 Hi All, Logan City Council rangers have made the decision to keep all trail networks in the LCC area closed over this coming weekend. As such Rats Summer Sprin...ts round 2 will not be going ahead this weekend. We are looking to reschedule to another date, which could be difficult given how crowded the race calendar is at the moment. But we will be trying our best to come up with a solution. A formal announcement on the rescheduled date will occur in the 48hours. In addition we have consulted with the parks team at Logan Council and have permission to do trailcare at Underwood this weekend. The goal will be to clear drains, fix any major erosion points and attempt to close the many pirate lines that have developed on the Underwood trail network. Trailcare will commence at 2pm Saturday and will finish with a sausage sizzle at 4pm! Thanks Lonnie Race Director and VP Rats Cycling Club
