22.01.2022 The North Brunswick Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of our senior mens coaching team of Scott Rymer (head coach) and Sam Willatt (senior assistant) for season 2021 - the same coaching team that led our mens reserves to the 2018 premiership. Scott is a long term servant of the North Brunswick Football Club, has played over 10 years of senior football for the club and is a member of the team of the decade 2006-2015. He coached the reserves for several ye...ars, including the 2018 premiership, before taking some time off football for travel. Sam arrived in Melbourne from Birmingham in 2016 due to his love of Australian Rules Football. He co-coached the North Brunswick reserves side in 2018, after an injury sidelined him from playing. More recently he played for the Bundoora Bulls. Scott and Sam are both previous members of the Great Britain national AFL side, and we look forward to a couple of Poms leading the club for season 2021 and beyond.
21.01.2022 The North Brunswick Football Club is excited to announce the appointment of club legend Patty Nataro as men’s reserves coach for season 2021. There is not much Patty hasn’t done for our club - our first senior premiership captain in 37 years; a generous and popular clubman; our leading goal kicker over many seasons snagging a million goals in the green and gold; head of recruitment and a club life member, awarded in our premiership year. We all look forward to watching Patty continue his footy journey at North Brunswick and using his great leadership and footy skills to lead the ressies and develop players for senior football. With Patty at the helm, its going to be great season so come on down to pre-season (dates to be announced shortly)

10.01.2022 Vale Rodney Burrows. The North Brunswick Community is saddened by the passing of club legend and life member Rodney ‘Beaky’ Burrows, who lost his fight with cancer today. Beaky joined the club from Brunswick VAFA in the 1970s and quickly became a club favourite both on and off the field. A great and courageous player (just ask him); he played 179 games in the green and gold and was an integral member of the 1981 senior premiership team; and of course a member of the team of... the decade. Always the ultimate clubman, he was reserves coach for many years and never missed club functions; including recent past players days where he showed the current players what it means to be North Brunswick and how good he was. A big hearted bloke who was always there to help out a teammate or shout a beer; he made a big and lasting impression on many at North Brunswick by looking after the new players and making everyone feel welcome. Beaky was someone that made everyone laugh, always had a story to tell and was the life of the Allard Park club rooms on a Thursday night (known at times to go straight to work after a big night at the rooms). The mention of his name always brings a smile because of all the happy and funny memories he gave to so many North Brunswick people. Possibly the bloke who has bought the most beers at the North Brunswick bar; Beaky’s 1987 Pewter mug will always remain on top the fridge in the clubrooms and he will be sadly missed by everyone at North Brunswick. Condolences to Beaky’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with you.
