02.01.2022 ...and more paid workshops from the awesome CRCs of the south west! These ones from Pemberton CRC look a bit more relaxed and creative than the accounting workshop in Nannup we advertised earlier today. WOW (Weekend of workshops), on 14th and 15th of November, in Pemberton, is in its second year. The weekend of workshops features a Tony Windberg art session, a cooking session with Tenina, a fiction writing session with Jon Doust, and a raw food course with Tamara. 02.01.2022 Financial help is on offer for residents of Shire of Manjimup who have experienced some hardship, large or small, from the Covid shut downs. The Shire has obtained over $400,000 from Lotterwest for this purpose. Come and see Graham at Northcliffe CRC, Oona at the Family Centre or Wendy at the Visitor Centre, and we can advise you, help you fill out a form, and submit it on your behalf. The CRC has already helped 10 Northcliffe households with gas bottles, firewood, fuel vouchers and other things they need. Money is paid directly to local suppliers and then they provide you the goods.

02.01.2022 Phase 4 restrictions of the WA coronavirus roadmap is here = less restrictions. Most public venues are now back to normal but the 2 square meter social distancing rule outside your family unit still applies wherever you go in any public space. You can now drink at a licensed venue without having to sign in or order food. Depending on infection rates locally, Phase 5 is planned to be introduced on Saturday, 18 July and will result in the removal of the 2 square meter rule. But for now...
