25.01.2022 Wheel bearing Wednesday Rear brake pads and rotors on this transit van due to the pads going metal on metal and damaging the disc rotor meant that the wheel bearings need to come apart to replace the rotor, this particular set was seized on and needed to be hit with a slide hammer to get them off. If you’ve got any brake noise get in touch to book it in before it becomes a more expensive repair
07.01.2022 Shifting into the new week 5th gear repair on a Toyota Rav4. It’s a common problem on the early 2000 model RAV4’s to pop out of 5th gear. Today we replaced the 5th, roller bearing, shift hub, sleeve and synco assembly, sealed up the housing and filled it with fresh oil and its back to shifting smoothly and staying in gear
