25.01.2022 It is with much sadness I announce the passing of our dedicated life member and volunteer Alan McKie . Alan sadly passed away today Wednesday 16th of October. Alan was a regular at our Thursday nights at Northcote. He was a wonderful servant to the club. A work horse in his approach who would do anything required and never complained. He was a wonderful husband to his wife Margaret and two beautiful children. Alan will be so sadly missed. Vale Alan.

22.01.2022 No LEAP OF FAITH from CNSW CA need to rethink what the clubs really want 29Oct2019 Earlier this month, the Cycling NSW Board opened an electronic poll for NSW clubs to vote on the current AusCycling proposal.... The poll closed on 28 October. The result of the poll has been delivered to the Board by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee. The result of the poll is that 62.5% of the votes cast were "No" votes. Fewer than 20% of NSW clubs voted "Yes" to the current AusCycling proposal. As a result, Glenn Vigar, as the Cycling NSW delegate to the Cycling Australia AGM and Chair of the Cycling NSW Board, will cast a "No" vote on behalf of NSW in response to the current AusCycling motions in November. The Cycling NSW Board has previously indicated that it would be in favour of an AusCycling model involving a national amalgamation of the cycling disciplines within a federated structure that maintains the state's autonomy.

17.01.2022 This document is the one being presented by CNSW at their recent club forums. This will give an insight into the changes they feel need to be made for AusCyclin...g to be a success in Australia. Without the inclusion of CNSW the current AusCycling proposal is fundamentally flawed.Hence why CT have not called for a club vote at this stage. See more

11.01.2022 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barry Langley last night. Barry was an honoured life member of Northcote whose dedication to the club could not be matched. He was instrumental in driving the completion of our Velodrome and always worked hard for the benefit of all members and cyclists. No one could match what he gave to his beloved sport. He was a wonderful friend to all, particularly myself and will be sorely missed. Vale Barry Langley.
