These hours might be extended depending on bookings. Please remember, to avoid disappointment, bookings are essential and 24 hours notice is preferred. 21.01.2022 This Friday 18/8 NICL Grand Finals @ Northcote Div 1 - Northcote Knights vs Hoppers Hurricanes - 9.00pm Div 2 - Northcote Knights vs Northcote Pirates - 7.30pm... Div 3 - Northcote Knights vs Hoppers Hurricanes - 7.30pm The final night of what has been a big and successful first season of the NICL. Who will join the east champions, Frankston Sharks in the Champions League this September. Could Hoppers provide another upset or will the Knights take out the title. The same goes in Div 2 & 3, with the Pirates & Hurricanes needing to be at the top of their games if they are to topple the more fancied Knights teams. So don't miss the action this Friday with the Inflatables up for the kids as well as hot food and refreshments at the ready. While DJ Besty will be belting out all our favourite tunes which will no doubt add to the atmosphere. Hope to see you there.

19.01.2022 Under 10’s Indoor Soccer Competition This competition will run for 11 weeks during the fourth school term, starting Thursday 8th October. At this stage games will commence at 4.30pm and will run with 2 x 13 minute halves. Depending on team numbers and participants, we have scope to add further time slots at 5.00pm and 5.30pm if necessary. And perhaps an Under 12 competition as well.... The cost per week is $8.00 a game which includes registration and insurance fees. Parents have the option to pay the full term up front at $80 which saves you $8.00. For those that are interested, there will be a coaching program run every Monday at 4.30pm which will involve a mixture of skill development, knowledge of rules and mini matches. These sessions will run for approximately 45 minutes and cost $10 per session or $8 if you decide to do both. On occasions, we hope to include an odd game of beach soccer which I’m sure the kids will love and finish the term on Thursday 17th December with a Sausage Sizzle and presentations. 16.01.2022 Big night of Semi's & Preliminary Finals down at Northcote Indoor Sports with the action kicking of at 6.00pm with both our Div 2 team the Knights & Pirates going head to head for a grand final spot. The loser will have a double chance and play again tonight at 9.00pm against the winner of Hoppers & Nth Geelong. While in div 3, both semi's are at 7.30pm with our Knights taking on Hoppers for the right to go straight through to the granny while our Pirates take on the Hurrican...es in the elimination semi. The winner of the elim semi will play the loser of the major semi in the Prelim at 9.00pm. Hope to see as many Northcote supporters as possible cheer on our guys and help get them over the line & into grand finals which are at Northcote next Friday 18/8. Our Div 1 Knights team is already through and will play the winner of Melton & Hoppers, who are playing their preliminary final tonight at Northcote 9.00pm. 12.01.2022 Hi guys & girls, through sundays state government new COVIDsafe plans they announced that all competitions for non contact indoor sports can start as of next week, Monday 22/6. For Northcote Indoor Sports, this means that senior Indoor cricket, Beach Volleyball & Dodgeball leagues can start and recommence this coming Monday. We will be in contact with existing and current teams about booking in for games next week. We would also love to hear from anybody that might be keen o...n entering or joining a new team as well as any groups looking for casual or social court hire, please call us on 9480 4562. There has still been no new start date set for the commencement of senior Indoor Netball or Soccer competition. At the moment, the recommencement date is still Mon 13/7, and for these sports, courts can be hired and used for training & practice only. Please call us on 9480 4562 if you’d like to book a court. And as of the 22/6, we can take bookings for children’s birthday parties as well as start all junior indoor sports. Please call 9480 4562 for all enquirers. There are several Covidsafe rules that need to be strictly adhered to on entry and we will be texting all captains and organizers before visiting the venue to ensure the safety of our staff & patrons. Queen’s Birthday long weekend from Thursday 9/6 to Monday 13/6. Teams from all over Victoria, including Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton, Geelong, Traralgon & Albury will be traveling to Melbourne to participate in MENS INDOOR CRICKET - all days MIXED NETBALL Sunday & Monday MXD BEACH VOLLEYBALL Saturday only We are calling out for players in all the above sports to represent the Northcote Knights and join the purple army to make this a weekend to remember. 06.01.2022 Hi past Northcote Knights Netballers, unfortunately we haven't had Superleague netball now for a couple of seasons, but we are still trying to build and establish a strong Monday night mixed 5 a side competition that can feed Superleague players in the future. We are also hosting the Vic County Championships this season on the Queen...s Birthday long weekend with the tournament including Men's Indoor Cricket, Mixed 7 a side Netball & 4 a side Beach Volleyball teams. Netball is being played on Sunday 12/6 in the morning, afternoon and evening as well as the morning session on Monday 13/6, with finals in the afternoon. 02.01.2022 Hello most important patrons of the Northcote Indoor Sports Center. It’s Peter & Alex, and we hope this pandemic is treating everyone kindly. Finally, we have been given some dates that we can start planning towards. From Monday June 22, we are permitted to open for training and/or casual court hire for groups of up to 10 per court and no more than 20 in the stadium at any given time. ... I know it’s still a while away but all our sporting competitions will be back up and running from Monday July 13. There will obviously be some changes required within the venue in regards to social distancing and being COVIDSafe once we open. Please, pass this message onto your players and share the info around, as we are very keen to see everyone’s friendly faces again. So if you’d like to hire a court from the 22/6, or your team is ready to start back from the 13/7, please call us on 9480 4562 or send us through a text message to this number. If there are any changes to those dates, we will be in touch. But until then, have fun and try to stay healthy & sane. PS now that you can, please do your best to get out and about. 01.01.2022 Northcote Indoor Sports have taken the current guidance of Sport Australia to remain open on the provision that social distancing requirements and hand hygiene is up kept. We strongly advise against participants attending any scheduled games in any sign of sickness or if you have had exposure to an overseas traveler. Northcote Indoor strongly advises that there should be minimal contact between players, visitors and officials which includes no shaking hands or hi-fives/hugs i...n the event of celebration. The only people to be entering and exiting the facilities should be players, officials, coaches, essential staff or parents/guardians; all spectators are advised to stay at home. We can assure all players, staff and officials that Northcote Indoor Sports are taking Sport Australia and Government guidelines on COVID-19 hygiene precautions absolutely seriously and measures are put in place as necessary. In saying this, Northcote Indoor Sports is a small, family run business and without the support of our dedicated players and teams our future is not clear; so your support during this tough time is greatly appreciated.
