12.01.2022 RIP Brendan Lynch Message from North Cronulla SLSC President - Geoff Budd It is with a heavy heart we advise our members of North Cronulla SLSC and the greater community that we have lost a good one!... Brendan has battled with great courage, against the odds for many years. During this time his love and devotion to his family, the surf club and his local rugby has never faltered. Brendan was a well respected and encouraging Patrol Captain, and was passionate about the saftety of the community whilst under his watch on the beach. He was a wonderful club person always willing to jump in and lend a hand. Brendan had volunteered countless hours to patrols, always assisting around the club where needed at carinvals in the IRB and with First Aid. He loved his Rugby, he was actively involved with Burraneer Rugby with his son Patrick and the Sea Lice with his Surf Club mates, always willing to jump in and lend a hand. He may have been Irish born, but he was a true Australian - when he gained his Australian Citizenship he was so proud to be able to receive that honour. We will be thinking of his wife Anna, his children Sienna and Patrick, as well as his family in Ireland - we are all proud of what he achieved. He has touched many a heart and will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.

Kicking off at noon on Saturday 22 August under tents outstide our Club house, members will be keeping two rowing ergos and a paddling ergo spinning for the full 24 hour hours!!... Mr Budd was speaking after the announcement of a $350,000 state government grant, which will be used for new equipment and gear storage rooms.
