25.01.2022 Research suggests that there is no scientific evidence that ear candles work. Experiments have measured the ear canal before and after the use of ear candles and show no difference in the amount of wax present. If that doesn't put you off, the prospect of a nasty burn injury to the face, ear or ear drum should.

20.01.2022 Syringing is typically performed by GP's and involves flushing the ear canal with water in the hopes of dislodging wax and debris on the way. Suction, as the name suggests, uses a small vacuum to gently suction out the wax. Suction is more appropriate for people prone to ear infections, are unable to get the ears wet or have a perforated ear drum. Call today to discuss if wax removal using suction might be best for you
