25.01.2022 Information for basketball 2020 PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED TO TAKE THE COURT an adult must accompany players to games ... please enter via the main entry door near the pool and exit through the red double doors ensure you use the hand sanitiser when entering and exiting the stadium when sitting to watch games please ensure social distancing occurs basketballs from home will NOT be permitted to be used in the stadium the change rooms area will not be open but toilet facilities will still be available remember to name any items you bring, especially drink bottles and finally is you or your children are unwell please stay at home and notify your teams coach We can not wait to see everyone for season 2020.

Grade 1 & 2 will play at the same time every week, group 1 at 3.15pm and group 2 at 4pm.... Grade 3 & 4, 5 & 6 team managers/coaches will be in contact within the next few days. 22.01.2022 Hi everyone just letting you know this years roster will be held on Wednesday nights at the stadium with game times as follows Grade 1/2 - 3:15pm & 4:00pm Grade 3/4 - 4:45pm & 5:35pm Grade 5/6 - 6:25pm, 7:15pm & 8:05pm... The registration link and roster will be up in the coming days.

16.01.2022 It’s a wrap for this season so thank you all for your participation, volunteering and support. Massive shout out to Ebony Styles, Natalie Bosworth and Alyse Joanne Kerr for there efforts with a successful local roster. The development for all and especially new players throughout was amazing to see. Thank you to all the umpires, we couldn’t do it without you. Thanks also to everyone involved in the LBA comp. Congrats Hayley Heazlewood, Lissy Curtayne and the Div 3 U12 boys o...n the Grand Final win. Thanks to Clint Lette for coaching the runners up div 2 U16 girls. My Div 2 U14 boys got through another season playing great basketball. Big effort travelling in each week so we appreciate it. I’d like to give Ebony Styles another shout out for her tireless work , her commitment every Wednesday night, travelling every Friday and basically running the whole show is so much appreciated. Maybe they would be interested in playing basketball for the Dorset Eagles? The Dorset Eagles are calling for names to play in the 2021 Launceston Basketball roster. The roster runs approximately March to September (no games played in school holidays). See dates and nights below. Teams will be required to travel to Launceston to play and train locally ...once a week. 12.01.2022 That’s a wrap for term 3 basketball!!! Congratulations to all the teams grades 1-6 over the last 10 weeks, they all improved so much. Thank you to all the umpires, coaches and team managers, your help is greatly appreciated. Here a some team pictures from the last game. 07.01.2022 Welcome to our new Dorset Eagles U12 team who played their first games last night. Great to see so many new faces.

07.01.2022 This season instead of having a mens B Grade Comp due to a lack of numbers we are looking at doing a High school boys 3x3 comp with 2 games being played at once.... These games would be on a Wednesday night between 5pm and 7pm. Teams could put there own teams of 4 players in or we could make teams if individual players want to play.
