18.01.2022 CUSTOM PERFORMANCE UPGRADES AVAILABLE!! North East Autoshop now offers custom performance packages for both petrol and diesel vehicles, dyno tuning is included in packages and is performed by Tim at North East Dyno Tuning. We have equipped this turbo diesel V8 Landcruiser with a full 3 inch performance exhaust system including a ceramic coated, high flow engine crossover pipe and a 1300nm NPC clutch to be able to handle the big torque increase, it also has been fitted with an... oil/air separator and a larger snorkel. As you will see on the dyno sheet, we achieved increases of 44.6hp(26% increase of horse power) and 261nm(massive 63% increase of torque) at the wheels, and now this beast is a pleasure to drive, power delivery is instant and very strong, fuel economy is a lot better than factory- thanks North East Dyno Tuning. He is a wonderful bloke and a great family man, he and his family will need a lot of support while he gets back on his feet, this great town is pulling together to help them. Wangaratta will be rockin' this weekend, with so much going on in the area......Wangaratta Rod & Custom Club's Rod Run, Early Holden Car Club's All GM Day, Nitro Circus, Bright's Brighter Days Festival all over the same weekend!! 06.01.2022 TRITON 2.4 TURBO DIESEL AUTO, TUNED FOR FUEL ECONOMY. 2019 Mitsubishi Triton has responded well to a custom upgrade to suit better fuel economy. These Tritons are pretty good on fuel economy from the factory, but will experience loss of fuel economy once fitted out with accessories like bigger tyres, heavy bullbars, winches, canopies etc. We fitted this vehicle with a fully stainless 3 inch performance exhaust, an oil/air separator and a K&N high flow air filter, then we had ...the factory ECU remapped to suit the upgrades with fuel economy in mind, we also had it setup with a lean cruise mode. Horsepower was increased by 18% and torque increased by around 10%, which has made this engine perform very crisp and responsive. And the exhaust is still just as quiet as factory...nice. 03.01.2022 HAPPY LITTLE ENGINE!! Here is a little one litre Suzuki F10A engine out of an early Suzuki Sierra we have just rebuilt.....it is tiny. The last time I rebuilt one of these was in 1998, so all the bearing clearances and specifications were still in my memory...yeah right!! It was a joy to build this with Bryce, our great second year apprentice, and it was the perfect engine for him to learn on because it is a very simple little engine with no complicated systems to navigate through. It is great to see him progress in his trade, and enjoy it at the same time!! Well done Bryce, and happy motoring people!!
