21.01.2022 All North East Water standpipes have been recently upgraded. Customers can now be issued with an electronic key which can be prepaid online. We urge people who may need water from standpipes to fight fires, to organise a key well before the fire season. Learn more about bushfire preparation and your water supply via www.newater.com.au/bushfire.

03.01.2022 A number of Yarrawonga customers may notice a small drop in water pressure on Tuesday 24th November due to a water main upgrade. Customers may experience a pressure reduction between 9am and 4pm. Most people won’t notice any difference, but we apologise for any inconvenience if you do.

01.01.2022 Happy #WorldToiletDay! How lucky are we?! We have safe, flushing sewers helping to keep us healthy. There are 4.2 billion people across the world that don't have access to safely managed sanitation. Find out more via www.worldtoiletday.org

01.01.2022 Due to a landslip that ruptured our raw water supply line to the Mt Beauty Water Treatment Plant we have had to rebuild our access road that is used by North East Water, AGL, CFA and DELWP. Because of the road rebuilding, Mt Beauty residents may have noticed turbidity in the West Kiewa River. Work should be completed in the next couple of days and the river will return to normal shortly after.... We have changed over to our alternative water supply from Simmonds Creek. This will ensure an uninterrupted water supply to Mt Beauty and Tawonga.
