24.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Returning to Playgroup We are happy to announce that our playgroups and programs will recommence from Monday 13 July 2020, in line with govern...ment guidelines, aligned to the commencement of School Term 3 and Stage 3 of the Government’s Roadmap. Stage 3 also increases the number of people that can gather at one time to 100, allowing us greater flexibility to welcome everyone back at once. Thank you for your patience! We know you are excited to get back to connecting face-to-face, but the most important consideration for us during this time has been the health and safety of our community our playgroup families, our team, and our valued partners. To comply with government regulations, each playgroup is required to have a COVID-Safe Plan before recommencing face-to-face gatherings. We are currently preparing resources to support our groups with this process. So things will be a little different for a while! Please be mindful that navigating this is unusual for all of us, there are new systems and procedures designed to keep us all healthy and safe, so please continue to be patient and kind to each other. In some circumstances, some of our playgroups (for example our intergenerational playgroups) may remain on hold due to increased health risks or restricted venue access. If you have questions about your specific group or program, please follow-up with your contact person, or alternatively, you can contact our team on [email protected]. 22.01.2022 Monday 10th August. Bring your teddy bears. I’ll bring a couple of picnic rugs, we can have a picnic, read some books & sing some songs!! 15.01.2022 We opened playgroup on Monday & it was great to see our regulars and a few new faces. To attend playgroup regularly you must sign up to be a member of playgroup QLD. We can no longer bring shared morning tea for the children so please bring their own snacks. Playgroup is based at Kewarra Beach Community Hall Mondays 930-1130am. 0-5 years welcome. $3 per visit, 1st week is free. 14.01.2022 Tomorrow the kids & carers are visiting the local retirement home. Our last visit was a hit with the residents asking when we were coming back.. PM me for details on playgroup, we run every Monday 930-1130am at Kewarra Beach Hall & sometimes do outings!!

04.01.2022 Looking for volunteers to run this Playgroup Monday mornings 930-1130am Kewarra Beach Community Hall. We have about 15 beautiful families all with kids 0-5 years. Everything is already up & running so it is basically just opening & closing, organising new members, tea, coffee & craft every week. Once a year you organise the hall hire with the council but it’s about 10mns work. You also have local support through Playgroup Qld. Contact me if you could help.
