25.01.2022 Ndma member Bryan Finn (Finny) competed in the Northern Territory Titles throughout this year & is now NT No 1 for Modified Bike (A/MB) drag racing . In the final, he had a .045 Reaction time and ran a 10.52 on a 10.5 dial in - Chicago shootout format. All competitors run 3 races with the best 2 racers into the final. Finny won 2 out of 3, and the final to take the title. Competing in the Alice Springs club series, out of 5 Rounds, Finny won 4 and runner up at the other. He also picked up two best reaction time trophies plus a 3rd for best burnout over the 5 rounds. Congratulations & well done Finny, a big commitment & a lot of travel #ptaugustaproud

13.01.2022 CLUB REGO INFO Ndma is an Authorised Club for the SA Club Rego Scheme. It is no longer a requirement for the club to inspect your vehicle - it is the owners responsibility to ensure road worthiness - & liability will be with the owner should you be pulled over by SAPOL. There is an initial $10 processing fee which covers club costs and issuing of Log Books.... It is a condition of the Club Rego Scheme that members must maintain financial membership of their nominated club to retain Club Registration status. The nominated Club must send annual returns to confirm current membership to DPTI. Steps:- 1/ join Ndma - online at website www.ndma.info with Paypal or EFT . Please complete membership form and email to club so we have your contact details to keep up to date with club days/runs etc. (If joint ownership/ Rego - membership must be in both names-Family membership) 2/. Attend Club Rego day or Make appointment with an Authoriser (remember they are all volunteers who have jobs) 3/ Have Rego papers, $10 for processing & log book, photos of car (front, rear, sides, under bonnet & interior). Photos on phone or tablet are fine - the club doesn’t need to keep them - just to ensure it’s a vehicle worthy of being a club membership car (ie:- not an old rust bucket that puts a boat in and out of the salt water ) 4/ Take MR334 provided by Authoriser to Service SA along with Rego papers & Log book. Costs have generally been approx $70 for 6 cylinders & $90 for V8’s. This entitles you to 90 days of driving within the 12 months registration period. (Almost every Saturday & Sunday). it’s that easy! 5/ Ensure you complete your log book every time you take the car out - after midnight is a new entry to record. Vehicles purchased & approved for Club Rego prior to transfer are eligible for Stamp Duty exemption - another savings! Contact our Authorisers BEFORE transferring to your name. You may also be eligible for a discount on your car insurance - check your insurer- Shannon’s definitely provide a large discount to Club Rego vehicle premiums Authoriser lists for contact below - Any further info ph Secretary Ange Corbett 0407410216 https://ndma.info/Current/PDF/Contacts.pdf

11.01.2022 About midnight on Friday 14 May, a man returned his home on Wellington Road to find two men in the process of stealing his car which was parked in a locked shed.... The home owner confronted the two men and was subsequently assaulted. The victim believes there may have been more people present at the time. He was taken to the Mt Barker Hospital for treatment of a head injury. The victim’s Holden Torana was then loaded on to a car trailer possibly being towed by a 4WD with a high clearance. Pictured is the stolen 1973 gold Holden Torana with SA registration RZE650. Anyone who sees the stolen car or knows of its whereabouts is asked to contact the police assistance line on 131 444. Please share, let’s get this car returned to its owner.
