17.01.2022 Regretfully the Organising Committee of SR Automotive Manumbar Rally have taken the decision to postpone the rally on Saturday 1st April. Consulting the SES and other local authorities this morning the area is predicted to receive 150+mm of rain over the next few days. The SES have been advised to open their incident centre tomorrow in preparation for possible flooding in the area. The SES man a Council road closure for the rally and they have advised that they cannot confirm their availability to perform that role. We have to consider the safety of competitors, officials, support crews and locals in the area and this was the highest priority in making this decision.

16.01.2022 Dear Members As you may be aware our ndscc.asn.au Website dissappered from the internet. As usual nothing is ever easy, after 3 weeks of research and countless hours of mind numbing conversations with IT. people we now have the website back. it was all due to logins and emails heading in all directions and the domain actually expiring. We now have all the info for every page, email, website etc etc etc. recorded and in our NDSCC laptop. We are in the planning stages of return...ing to Hirstglen in 2019. Expressions of interest from Members wishing to be qualified as Clerks of the course, Assistant COC, timekeepers, event secretary's,scrutineers etc are invited. We are at this stage looking to combine forces with bscc to have skilled and cams qualified people help us get it back up and running. Any thoughts, ideas or issues please contact me directly to be able to discuss cheers Shaun Gill 0418725955

Four completely new Special Stages to challenge both your vehicle and your talent. NO Bundy isn’t one of those challenges. I have it on good advice (from a renowned Course Checker and noted Navigator) that this year’s stages are some of the best he has seen for many years. The Wowan Community Associations will be providing catering from Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast, check out the menu for great value and variety. Camping is available within the grounds. Friday night meet and greet will be held at the Commercial Hotel in Wowan, with a free bus running Friday and Saturday nights. As usual we need lots of volunteer officials to make this event a great round of the MRF Queensland Rally Championship. We need Start Control Officials, Finish Controls and Road Closure personal.
