25.01.2022 This happy little fellow popped his head out from a piece of tree bark as we crossed Florence Creek heading for a swim a few days ago. He's a green tree frog and he was enjoying the lush monsoon forest vegetation that lines the creek that flows from the stunningly beautiful #FlorenceFalls.

23.01.2022 Our little group today swum here at #FlorenceFalls in #LitchfieldNationalPark. With wet season flow so heavy the current was strong. Think I know how a salmon must feel.

21.01.2022 Need string? Showing Glenda the #ecologist how to make bush string from sand palm leaves on a sunny day in #Litchfield National Park in the #Territory's #TopEnd

20.01.2022 Bush pharmacy. Low in iron or zinc? It's all right here for those who know where to look. The fine powder from a pipe termite mound in the right type of red clay is just what you need. And the taste? Better than chocolate! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

08.01.2022 Glorious #rainbow today in the spray at Tolmer Falls. #Litchfield National Park in the #NorthernTerritory #TopEnd never ceases to amaze!

08.01.2022 #FlorenceFalls might just be one of the most spectacularly landscaped pools ever. Refreshingly cool water (for the tropics), due to shading from its steep stone walls, flows all year round from rock springs higher up in its catchment. #FlorenceFalls is imbued with #sacred symbolism too, representing very important aspects of life for local people.

08.01.2022 How's the serenity? Tess Atie from NT #Indigenous Tours at Wangi Falls in #Litchfield National Park #TopEnd #Australia

06.01.2022 Hibiscus pethericki is now in spectacular bloom, the best for many years, in #LitchfieldNationalPark. Take the #TolmerFalls stone country walk to see hillsides resplendent with pink!

05.01.2022 What's down a goanna's throat? We had a good look the other day and saw nothing but inky blackness. This water monitor (#goanna) appears to have made his home on the banks of the creek at Paykudamulla (#FlorenceFalls). No doubt he's getting fat on the leftovers of picnickers in the area.

04.01.2022 Flying in a #helicopter over La Belle Station west of #Litchfield National Park. This area gets really green during the wet season contrasting against the rich red of the #earth.
