24.01.2022 Been a bit slack on here... Still busy shooting feral pigs, a few wild dogs and some wild dog control programs. Not getting too much sleep, but still find some time to take the dogs for a run to the beach, so they can have some quality time! A few more weeks and we'll be back trapping solid for the rest of the year!

22.01.2022 https://youtu.be/SYrtxj42t9o Our mate Chris (and Shelly) from "It's a doggers life" just posted a video from a little while ago. We had a good couple of days together up here in North Queensland. Ok, if you need a translation app, you can download it in your App store.(can't talk that man) And yes, I've got a good radio face... But we try to share some info that might help some people to reduce impact. Thanks Chris, Shelly and maybe Trenno for this video. There's more videos on "it's a doggers life" Cheers! See more

20.01.2022 And another run done. It's been a good job, with great results so the property owners are happy again. We've been on this place for a fair few years and the property owners have seen impact reduced to only 1 little calf bite last year. All cattle are preg tested and calving rate went up a fair bit too, we don't know how much exactly. ... I guess it shows our programs work! We also took a few feral pigs and feral cats out of the system, which might save a few native animals!! Now on to the next one again.... Cheers!

17.01.2022 Wow, What a couple of good weeks... We done a 2 week project to reduce some wild dog numbers. Stock loss and bitten calves was the reason. We definitely walked away from the place with some great results.... Here's just a few pics so you can get a bit of a impression. We took the managers 12 yr old son to show him a thing or two, and teamwork got us another dog /bitch double up! We also had a master gate opener extraordinary with us.. Mr. GEX bars and rails booked in for a lesson in how to trap a wild dog. After a day or two he caught his first double up, 10 yr + old male dog and his female partner. So we were all stoked with that! Look up his awesome work he does on Facebook, GEX Bars and Rails... If you want quality....its right there! Big shout out to Gecko, the property owners, managers and their family for doing business with us, much appreciated. Now its time for a cold beer, getting ready for a run a bit further south! Have a good one !

17.01.2022 Lest We Forget.

17.01.2022 Something you don't see every day...

16.01.2022 Finally a day or two off!! We've been pretty quiet on the whole Facebook thing, been a tad busy with all different jobs. Trapping wild dogs, culling deer and pigs and a lot of other little jobs here and there. Just sharing a few of the pics with you all... We don't wanna post a pic of every dead animal, it get's too boring.... Now to clean all the gear, some upgrading tyres and rims on the side x side, and heaps of other little jobs that we just didn't get to in the last months! Hope you're all good out there!

14.01.2022 Lest We Forget....

11.01.2022 https://www.outbackmag.com.au/dog-shrinks/ G'day all, We're still shooting feral pigs at the moment, not too much wild dog trapping happening .... We had Mandy visiting us to do a interview about wild dog trapping for RM Williams magazine. If you're interested, grab a copy from your local news agency We would like to thank Mandy McKeesick from Opal Heart media for taking the time to travel and see us, much appreciated! Hope you all have a great weekend, with maybe even a drop of rain.

10.01.2022 Well, we're back to shooting feral pigs again at night! Trapping a few wild dogs along the way. Thermal imaging gear is performing well, finding feral pigs in sorghum and other crops. Aerial shooting didn't get the desired result, ground shooting does in these areas at the moment ....nearly zero feral pig damage in the crops. Not the numbers like last year, but still worth it to do these shoots.... Also taking any feral cats we see, destructive little critters that decimate populations of native birds, reptiles and mammals. Cheers! See more

07.01.2022 New addition to the Honda Pioneer! Scruffa is pretty happy with the new GEX Bar and Rails... These Bars are top notch quality. can't test it on bulls yet we're trapping wild dogs, but as soon as this run is finished we'll give it a crack!... Look up GEX Bars and Rails if you need a serious bar!

06.01.2022 Every day is a good day! Some days are just a bit better.....

04.01.2022 Bloody stoked to get this pair yesterday. We're trapping a property that is heavily baited every year at the moment. To be honest, there's not a lot of wild dogs around at the moment. But were getting old dogs that obviously never took a bait. The bitch was heavily pregnant, 24.5 kg and estimated 6 years old.... The male dog, well, very hard to estimate his age. All top teeth are gone, bottom teeth nearly gone, molars flat...but his canines were absolutely massive. 39 mm and 40 mm from the gums And in great shape, with a lot of wear on the grind. That old male would grab calves and never let go! They lost a lot of calves in this paddock, so hopefully this will save a few calves. We're gonna keep his skull for educational purposes in future workshops. See more

04.01.2022 G'day to all of you, First of all, we would like to wish you all a happy Easter, hope you can still enjoy a bit of free time, although it might be camping in the backyard.. Weird times at the moment, but it doesn't stop the ferals from doing damage. We will be doing a lot of night time thermal shooting in the next few months to prevent crop damage.... We will also run pig traps to contribute to the results. While we do the shooting at night, we also have traplines in at the same time to catch some wild dogs on multiple properties. Busy times ahead, with very little sleep.. Hope you all stay safe and have a great Easter break ! We're off to check traps now!

03.01.2022 Bit of a plug for our mate Megan from Iron & Bark fabrication... Trapper in the making... She makes these wicked , so called crab cookers . We don't have time to go crabbing, but use the cooker to cook a bloody good steak, boil out some skulls or trophies and boil out our traps.... Real versatile burner, and you can even use it as a organic weed control burner if you want This is her Facebook page, she makes all wicked stainless and alloy stuff! https://www.facebook.com/ironandbark/

02.01.2022 Happy Birthday to one of my best mates Scruffa! The best employee a business can ever hope for. Always keen to work and great company... She even got a few birthday pigs today as a present
