25.01.2022 Hi members, I hope everyone is coping with the isolation, it’s a challenging time for us all. Hope you make time to read more about beekeeping and not just C19 logarithmic graphs Here is a link to an Australian Beekeeping FB group that I follow. The admin team do a good job of managing the page to stop things becoming mean/nasty. It’s a good resource for broader questions and most importantly it has some really useful learning modules. I’d strongly recommend looking at the...se and search the group for any question as most would have already been asked and answered. As it’s an Australian wise group, if you post any questions make sure you advise your location (e.g. Sydney Northern Beaches) as nearly every answer has a location dependency when it comes to beekeeping. 17.01.2022 Hello NB Beekeepers, If you have volunteered for St. Ives Show next weekend 18-19th May on the honey stand, we thank you. I am sure you are looking forward to a fun couple of days talking bees and being able to sell your lovely honey. We will be setting up Friday morning 9-12 and you are welcome to come by and help set up. Ideally we would ask you bring your honey by when you do your shift. However if you are on later in the weekend that may not work so well and you are welcome to bring it in early Saturday morning to the stand. I will be there in the mornings and Wendy the afternoons so call us if you have any questions. Kind regards Julie and Wendy.

01.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone and hope you have a restful Boxing Day. If you want to be busy as a bee and make wax wraps just a reminder we have the iron specifically for these, just send a message to book it. Julie

01.01.2022 Free beekeeping lessons with a focus on what’s best for bees. I haven’t watch the content yet but believe ‘Ben’s Bees’ is a pretty sound beekeeper from things I’ve read before. They are based in VIC so consider the climate is different to our Northern Beaches.
