21.01.2022 Researchers have conclusively found that increased time spent leading a healthy lifestyle during midlife in particular (aged 45-49) can keep certain diseases at bay and promote good health. Healthy lifestyle means: - not smoking - eating a healthy balanced diet... - regularly exercising - maintaining healthy body weight (BMI 20-25) and blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol level. With a healthy diet there is a significantly lower risk of getting high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease or of dying earlier than average. Make an appointment to ask your doctor for a 45-49 year old health assessment and get these risk factors checked.

19.01.2022 Reminder to all patients: if you have Coronavirus symptoms such as fever, coughing, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath please phone for instructions before attending the medical centre. You must be issued with a mask to prevent the virus spreading and be kept separate from other people until the Coronavirus has been excluded by testing. 07.01.2022 All patients can now stay at home and get a bulk billed phone or video consultation with their GP to reduce the number of people gathering in the medical centre waiting room and help reduce transmission of Coronavirus. The GP may still need to see you in person for some things and will let you know on the phone if that's necessary. If you want a telehealth (phone or video) consult, please let reception know when you phone to book. Please note there may be some minor delays as we implement this system.
