The student competition this year involved entrants across high schools, TAFE and tertiary institutions. 18.01.2022 Huge congratulations to Zoe Fraser from Freshwater Senior Campus - Northern Beaches Secondary College for winning the Nova Employment Choice and Best Director award as part of the 2020 International Focus On Ability short film competition with her Year 12 Industrial Technology Multimedia Major Project. Zoe will be taking home a brand new Kia Cerato GT as part of her grand prize! Zoe created a beautiful and incredibly powerful animation sharing her brother, Luca's journey with Aspergers and how he sees it as his gift. 01.01.2022 34 Year 10 students from Manly Campus were presented with their Bronze The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - Australia at a year assembly this week. This group of students engaged in 6 months of volunteering in the community, learning a new skill and staying physically active. They also completed two overnight hikes in the Wollemi National Park in 2019 and have demonstrated strong commitment to their interests, remaining organised and focused on good citizenship. They... have have now progressed to Silver and intend to begin Gold in 2021. Congratulations! #NBSC #WorldReady #Manly
