21.01.2022 Get to know our NEW TEACHER AIDES! - Kathryn Bitt: I’m from Tassie. I was brought up on the northwest coast of Tasmania but moved to Hobart for Years 11 and 12 about six years ago. I love science and nature and learning about the amazing systems that God so perfectly designed. - Janna Leaman: I live in the Midlands and have spent the past five years employed at Bothwell District School. ... Prior to that, I worked as a Secondary Drama Teacher and a School Chaplain. This year I will be assisting as a Teacher Aide and coordinating Little Learners. 16.01.2022 The Year 5’s thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr Lamont and the Year 6’s on plasticine models for their Design and Technology project. - In Science, our work on light saw the class using shadow boxes to create a puppet show to investigate how shadows are formed and how they become larger and smaller. #EncourageEquipEnrich

14.01.2022 Congratulations to all the students who competed in the RACT City to Casino Fun Run and Walk yesterday! - Miss Armstrong and Mr Gressie had a great time running with the students and are looking forward to more running events throughout the year. 11.01.2022 In Year 2, for Technologies & Design, we had to create a container that would perfectly fit an apple. We needed to be able to place the apple inside, reach in and pull it out and be able to carry the apple around. - The class LOVED working together, as they figured out the different ways to create the perfect container for their apples. There were many creative designs that were made, in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Here is a look at some of our final designs. #EncourageEquipEnrich

05.01.2022 The Year 5/6's couldn't go to Canberra this year, so a "taste" of Canberra came to us today in the form of Senator Jonathon Duniam. He spoke to the students about his role in the Australian Parliament and then happily responded to a "Q & A" session. - Senator Duniam was very impressed with our student's knowledge of the Australian system of government as well as their attentive and respectful behaviour. #EncourageEquipEnrich
