23.01.2022 Share your experiences as a migrant or refugee woman living in Australia by completing this national survey. Your answers will contribute to a greater understanding of the issues important to you and help shape policy, practice and advocacy: https://bit.ly/2ZX45uD The survey closes 13 November and is open to anyone over the age of 18 years old. All responses will remain anonymous, and participants will have a chance of winning one of 10 Coles-Myer vouchers to the value of $100.

18.01.2022 Victoria has just announced a significant relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions! It's been and will continue to be a challenging time for the Northern suburbs - well done to our community for staying home and staying safe. However, to protect our newfound freedoms (and each other) it's important to stay vigilant. Following a recent outbreak in the Northern Metro region, residents of Dallas, Roxburgh Park or Broadmeadows are urged to get tested if experiencing any Coronavirus symptoms. See below for local testing locations. For translated information, visit: coronavirus.vic.gov.au/translations

15.01.2022 NCLC strongly supports this dangerous and discredited practice being outlawed. Such practices have been rejected by every mainstream medical and mental health organisation for decades, but due to continuing discrimination and societal bias against LGBTIQ people, some practitioners continue to conduct conversion therapy. Young people are especially vulnerable, and conversion therapy can lead to depression, anxiety, drug use, homelessness, and suicide.

13.01.2022 A long overdue initiative that is warmly welcomed by NCLC:

03.01.2022 Today, the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women, NCLC staff joined the family violence sector, and people across Victoria in wearing orange and participating in the Walk against Family Violence. This activity marks the start of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Why orange? As a bright and optimistic colour, orange represents a future free from violence against women and girls. At NCLC over the past financial year, 52% of our clients experienced family violence. Violence against women and children is never ok. #WAFV2020 #WhyWeWalk

01.01.2022 Victoria needs to ensure all Victorians are supported as it recovers from the impact of COVID-19, especially those who faced greater economic, cultural or socia...l injustice before the pandemic. Let's make sure no Victorian is left behind. Find out how this is can be done in our latest report https://www.fclc.org.au/just_and_equitable_victoria
