25.01.2022 Here we go Rangers Our women’s sides take on @gordonwomenscricket tomorrow. Good luck to our Rangers #ndranger #ndcc1925 #allin

23.01.2022 Ranger of the Round Not surprisingly the @total_construction_p_l Ranger of the Round is Chad Soper. Coming from the top end all day bowling 21 straight on day 2 to claim his best figures for the club of 6/48 (28.3). This was Chaddy’s first 5fa for the club, many more to come! Congrats Chaddy #ndranger #allin #ndcc1925

22.01.2022 Here he is! Our @oneillssportsau Ranger of the Round is none other than @axel_cahlin. Axe on debut for the Rangers scored a brilliant 123 to guide the First Grade side to a solid win. His innings featured 10 fours and 1 maximum, a true joy to watch! First of many in ND blue. Congrats Axe #ndranger #ndcc1925

21.01.2022 The NDCC Committee is delighted to confirm the Men’s Grade Captains for 2020/21! We are very fortunate that four captains are returning but replacing the iconic and ageless Daniel Friedrich in 2nd Grade has not been easy. We’re pleased to announce Daniel Anderson will lead 2nd Grade and he is excited to take on this role. Returning from a year off with injury, and a former Green Shield and PGs captain, DA is looking forward to this new challenge! #ndranger #one #ndcc1925

19.01.2022 Ranger Results First Grade An enthralling first day saw 17 wickets fall against Wests at Pratten Park. Ross Pawson (3/45 off 16) and George Furrer (3/44 off 16) were damaging with the ball as the Rangers bowled out Wests for 147. The chase got off to a strong start with Axel Cahlin (43) setting the tone early. Wickets continued to fall however Daniel Anderson (37*) held the ship steady with the days play ending with the Rangers needing 12 runs to secure first innings po...ints with 3 wickets in hand. Second Grade Some determined performances from Oliver Hing (74) and John Anderson (46) led the Rangers to 228 after early wickets had us in a spot of bother at the start of the day. Early wickets will be the key next week, with Wests currently 0/55. Third Grade Another win sees Third Grade 7/7 to start the season and sitting pretty at the top of the table with 43 competition points, 10 clear of second place. Winning the toss and batting, Adam Wigglesworth (74) was the star and was well supported by captain Clayton Waters (46) as the Rangers piled on 250 in their 50 overs. With the ball, Yash Patel (5/27 off 10) had Sydney in all sorts of bother as they were eventually bowled out for 154. Fourth Grade Captain Ben Fisher not only won the toss and batted but set the tone superbly with a well compiled 92 off 79 which included 3 sixes. At the other end, Jayden Camp (58) provided strong support as the Rangers notched up 230 off their 50 overs. In his first game back from injury, Ben Randall (3/28 off 9) did not miss a beat and Jayden Camp once again showed his class this time with the ball picking up 3 wickets as Sydney were bowled out for 155. Fifth Grade A disappointing loss for Fifth Grade sees their undefeated steak to start the season come to an end, however the lads have still held onto top spot on the table. Losing the toss and being sent in, Lachlan Soles (44) and Alistair Weston (54) were the only ones to get going as the Rangers posted 186. The Rangers struggled to make inroads against the Sydney batting lineup, with Sri Narain (2/26 off 10) the lone bright light as Sydney chased down the total with 3 overs to spare. #ndranger #allin #ndcc1925 See more

15.01.2022 This season Northern District is going to be participating in the Neverrest push up challenge. The initiative is something the Clarence family have put together in an effort to raise awareness around Cystic Fibrosis. Greg Clarence has been a stalwart in grade cricket for many years. A couple of years ago he lost his eldest brother Nathan to the disease. Since then, his brother Sean and Greg have got on the front foot in raising awareness and attempting to assist in the fight ...for a cure. Last year, Greg’s middle brother Sean completed an incredible feat in 24 hrs. He completed 10,000 push ups, 1500 pull ups and ran 42km into ANZ Stadium. This year Sean is attempting 15 000 push ups and 2500 pull ups in 24hrs. In addition they are trying to achieve the feat of reaching the milestone of 1 million push ups from groups and members of the community. As a club, we are going to pledge 10,000 push ups to begin with. Everyone will start knocking these off at our pre-season sessions which will follow into the season with other grade clubs taking part in this fantastic cause. @easts_dolphins

14.01.2022 What a surprise! No doubt Corey Miller is our Player of the Round against Hawkesbury. Corey played a chanceless innings until he ticked over the 240 mark, blasting 29 fours and 5 sixes. An unbelievable performance scoring over a run a ball that has set Corey’s season up and sits him at the top on the NDs highest score batting charts. Congratulations Corey! #ndranger

09.01.2022 Weekend wrap up A terrific unbeaten weekend for NDs sees the club at the top of the Club Championship table after two weeks of competition. In 1st grade George Furrer and Ross Pawson led the way claiming early wickets which was too much for Hawkesbury to recover from. ... Jack Cincotta led the way in 2nd grade with a top shelf 5 wicket hall on a batting paradise, with Dan Alleyn chipping in with 3 wickets. On Sunday, PGs and 1st Grade T20 kicked off their respective competitions. A fantastic maiden 100 for Aidan Cahill set up an out of reach total for Penrith who were bowled out for 118, led by Joe Hiley with his 4 wickets. 1st grade showed why they will be in the hunt for another T20 finals series with a perfectly timed run chase. George Furrer was again in the wickets but it was the spin combination of Felton, Dassayake and Gray which was instrumental in restricting Penrith to 150. David Lowery was the star in the run chase, batting through the innings with 70 not out off 55 balls. Lowery linked up with Maskell for an 83 run partnership before Toby Gray finished off the innings with a quickfire 23 off 10 balls. Meanwhile, 3s, 4s and 5s played their respective trial matches against Blacktown and all had strong wins. Special mention to Adam Wigglesworth who scored a hundred on his first game for the club and Ollie Stofka who also notched up his first ton. A great weekend for the Rangers who look to continue their momentum into round 3. #ndranger #allin

07.01.2022 A tough day at the office for our PG’s boys on Sunday with our first loss of the season against a determined Sydney University outfit. Losing the toss and being asked to bowl, captain Toby Gray (3/14 off 4.3) led the way early with a few crucial wickets before Ben Randall (5/19 off 8) was introduced and carved up the middle order with a great spell of consistent bowling. With the bat, the Rangers were never able to find their groove, with Jack Harris (35*) holding his own as wickets fell around him. PG’s now sit 2nd in the Thunder Conference with one round game to play in January before finals

She joint first grade captain @lauren_smith96 who has swapped magenta for lime green this campaign. Congratulations @anikalearoyd #ndranger #one

04.01.2022 Great start for the Rangers against the Hawks on the weekend! A ton from Lachlan Shaw in just his second game for the club has put First Grade in a strong position. However, he was overshadowed by a massive double ton from Corey Miller in Second Grade! Corey brought up his 262 at better than a-run-a-ball. A few poles from Cincotta and Alleyn put the Rangers in a strong positon. #ndranger #ndcc1925

03.01.2022 As we gear up for Round 3 action! Let’s celebrate our Top Rangers from Round 2 action No surprise @corey.milller is at the top of that list after his record breaking double @jackcincotta took his first 5fa in 2nd grade after blowing the front pad off 4 Hawks on his way to a gutsy 5/41 ... Young gun @_lachy_shaw became the youngest Ranger EVER to score a in First Grade since 1925. An innings of maturity beyond his years, Lachy sure is one to watch over the next few years Congrats gentlemen #ndranger #allin #ndcc1925

Lachy played every shot in the book on his way to a brutal 76. @jonty_webb take his best figures for the club with 6/40. Jont ripped through the Uni top and middle order to finish with a bag full. Young @jarod_baxter24 continues to impress and starred with the ball in 5th grades bonus p...oint over Sydney Uni! The airtime for Chaddy Soper continues, after his tough display of 2day bowling taking his club best figures of 6/48. Congrats gentlemen #ndcc1925 #ndranger #allin See more
