We do not want to put staff on ‘just to get the job done’, we want to keep the quality high and good staff are hard to find.... 23.01.2022 So let me tell you about Wallan ... I often get enquire to go there and quote and or even to repair learning fences but I don’t anymore and here’s the reason... People give fences the least amount of love about there home and cheap is often the solution to the problem of needing one ..... Here is what cheap buys you - you can actually see the bottom of the post, a freckle past 250mm and a dam sight away from 600mm I’m strong winds or any kind of land works, they fall over leaving you to pick up the bill and the reason is, the place e is surrounded by Black Rock which is hard to punch through, that’s why very few actually do and so it cheaper than we will ever do it because it takes longer... Quality doesn’t scream, but poor quality does

22.01.2022 Excuse me, can you fix my cheap fence? We lose jobs to cheaper quotes, and this is what you’re paying for THEN, clients pay us to fix the cheap fences and they tell us ‘how are they meant to know’? Answer is, LOOK AT THE PRICE... Try to save a bit you’ll pay for it later, sorry, but cheap is costing you on quality. Our rails get 3 nails each, not these thin short ones without glue - do the math, cheaper means less material. Or your boss asked you to work for 20% less, would you do it? Of course not so when you ask a professional to do a better price, they’ll only cut back on material, not labour. So we fixed it anyway!

20.01.2022 So Wallan right ? When you do something properly, people can’t see it, even if you do a shit job. I look at other companies and they post and promote and boost their result, but they never promote boost and post about the process -... Take a look, BLACK ROCK - next level is HELL 600mm minimum because that is what YOU are paying for and did I forget to mention a FULL hole of concrete ? What do we do with the dirt? It’s yours, we don’t put it back in... Anyway, have a lovely evening

20.01.2022 Instant Fence Repairs strikes again in Greensborough Once again, no concrete and the fence is in great condition. Why replace when repairing is more economical and smart spending - straps left to alter the bias of the fence for a day, we’ll be back to remove the straps so the home owner can enjoy a straight fence for Xmas...... Onto the next one

09.01.2022 Sadly, this is the kind of quality ‘cheaper’ we’re asked to match. This fence is literally months old or newer - we were asked to come out and inspect it to see what we could do, and the only thing we could do was to be honest; there’s nothing to repair, the fence has to be rebuilt. Fact is, when it was built, it ‘looked ok’ but as you get closer, you’d be blind to see that’s its very definitely NOT ok.... When we are asked to match someone else’s quote, we say we don’t compete on price, we compete on quality and this is exactly what we’re trying to educate people on. One of the posts has been concreted ‘out’ of the ground all boxed up - This sadly enough though, was only $15 less per meter than our standard price but not worth a cracker at the end of the day. Buyer beware; VCAT can’t event force them to refund your money

09.01.2022 Before and after of this mornings repair. It was only 7 years old and NO concrete - ashamed of some industry peers. Saved the customer 000’s for a new fence but would have been better to do it right the first time

04.01.2022 At Wallan this morning - I encourage everyone to get a good deal (some think it’s price) but a good deal means quality and price. Sadly and all too often, screwing the fence guys means you get screwed in the end.... I swear we are not making this shit up - YOU are buying and paying for cheap more than you know. If it looks right, it doesn’t mean it is. We can’t do anything with this fence or posts, we have to actually did deeper. We have been to this site before, yes, we did the driveway and what happened, there is black rock below this level and why they stopped digging. We must push through that to actually put the post in the ground - more photos later, just wanted to share the crap we see everywhere. PS; we do not quote new fences in new estates because new home builders are chasing price 99% of the time - so unless you want quality for a little bit more, please don’t ask us for a quote

03.01.2022 A gate repurposed (destined for the rubbish) built from a place of customer service. Treating customers like humans at a slight cost of integrity - Finished off today even though this client was left for dead by others because there was no more profit in it for them.... We sleep at night because we care about our real clients - some wanna be customers chase the cheapest price then complain about what they got, but that’s what you settled for - Cryptic I know but the bottom feeders feast on crumbs and our clients know the value of relational capital...

Sadly there was a delay in material on today’s job by 3 & 1/2 hours and had the team literally working til the cusp of darkness but we are ready for the last stage of this job which is the drains and reo, then the concrete...
