25.01.2022 The Northern Football Netball League is pleased to announce a partnership extension with MC Labour Services. 21.01.2022 Congratulations Alyssa Bannan! Selected by Melbourne Football Club as the 2020 AFL Women's No.5 Draft pick. Alyssa spent her junior football career with South Morang Football & Netball Club and Diamond Creek Women's Football Club and was a member of the NFNL's historic Under-15 Girls team that claimed the title at the 2017 AFL Victoria Metro Junior Championships. She has been one of the NFNL's leading boundary umpires in recent seasons and also tied for the Section 2 netball best and fairest in the 2019-20 Summer competition.

16.01.2022 Congratulations Josh Eyre! Selected by Essendon Football Club with pick No.39 in the 2020 AFL Draft. A product of Kilmore Junior Football Club, Eyre played eight games for the Calder Cannons during the 2019 NAB League season and was a member of Essendon’s Next Generation Academy. Standing 197cm, he was a standout at the Vic Country Combine last month, finishing second in both the 2km time trial and 20-metre sprint, as well as runner-up in the running and standing vertical jumps tests.

14.01.2022 Northern Umpires Association alumni Jesse Baird will make history during tonight's semi final between Richmond and St Kilda at Metricon Stadium. Jesse will become the first AFL/VFL goal umpire since 1931 to officiate in two finals in his debut season. Congratulations and good luck, Jesse!

An NFNL junior representative at both under-14 and under-15 level, he played junior football with both Eltham Football Club and Greensborough Junior Football Club. McMahon is a key forward who booted 14 goals in 15 NAB League matches as a bottom-age player for the Northern Knights last year.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to VU Western Spurs premiership coach Christina Polatajko, who has been appointed an assistant coach of Hawthorn Football Club's VFLW team for the 2021 season. Polatajko guided the Spurs to the NFNL Division 1 Women's premiership in 2019 and claimed the Female Coach of the Year Award at the 2019 AFL Victoria Community Football Awards.

06.01.2022 The NFNL congratulates Nikolas Cox, Bailey Laurie, Liam McMahon and Josh Eyre on their selection in the 2020 AFL Draft. Essendon used its first selection to take Cox at pick 8, before selecting Eyre at pick 39. Laurie was drafted by Melbourne at pick 22, while McMahon found his way to Collingwood at pick 31.
