12.01.2022 A reminder that for those Juniors Advanced and Black Belt students attempting Grading on May 22, 2021, we will have the following classes available today. 5:30-6:30pm ... BUNKAI (4th Kyu and above) 6:30-7:30pm ... KYOGI (1st Kyu and Black Belts)... Note that these classes are different to usual. The intent is that it gives students the opportunity to practice and work on their BUNKAI and KYOGI, and are not an instructional class. At this stage, the students going to grade should already know their BUNKAI and be practicing it for effect with partners, and for those doing the KYOGI CLASS, it is for you to ensure you are on target to have your KYOGI memorised and for effect for the Grading. Keep practicing, Term 2 is approaching fast and Gradings will be upon us sooner than we realise. Term 2 looks to be a huge for NGK. Classes for Term 2 officially kick off from Monday April 19th, 2021.

09.01.2022 Following Premier Daniel Andrews message earlier today, and following a consecutive 9 days of 'zero' new cases and 'zero' deaths to COVID, we. NORTHERN GOJU KARATE, will be back at the dojo as of tomorrow, Monday November 9th, 2020. Look forward to seeing you all again over the following week. 09.01.2022 Located at the heart of the Laurimar Town Centre in Doreen, Northern Goju Karate offers traditional 'Goju' teachings, an Okinawan Martial Art recognised worldwide, as well as Arnis (Philippine Weapon Martial Art) and Ground Awareness (Grappling) to provide all of our students a well rounded and personal safety defence system, and provides every student the opportunity to develop confidence, personal fitness, co-ordination, focus, direction, flexibility and most of all, skills... for life. Classes are disciplined, yet fun, allowing all participants to learn and develop the needed and required skills, with classes split by skill level and by separation of Junior and Seniors classes, and with the current limitations on class sizes (set by the Andrews Government), we have addressed this with the inclusion of 7 additional classes per week to address the requirements, offering 25 classes per week. Check out out timetable at : http://www.northerngojukarate.com.au/index.php/classes See you at the dojo!
