25.01.2022 Happy Superbowl Monday NRGC family, friends and faithful followers (or Sunday for those not in Australia)! May the biggest day of the year for our sport be filled with drinks, good times and a united love of Gridiron. Whether it be cheering for imminent hall of famer Tom Brady, or the future baby GOAT Patrick Mahomes let us know in the COMMENTS who you are going for and how you are celebrating this glorious day! 23.01.2022 TODAYS THE DAY!!! Pre-season training for the Northerns Raiders is back. In true Melbourne fashion its been cold and wet these last couple of days so plan accordingly and be sure to check out the event for all the details! PLEASE NOTE: Due to LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS in Victoria, anyone who is feeling unwell or is from any of the following postcodes is asked NOT to attend pre-season trainings until further notice as a precaution against COVID-19: 3012, 3021, 3031, 3032, 3038, 3042, 3046, 3047, 3051, 3055, 3060, 3064. If you cannot attend due to this then don't stress too much, there will be more trainings to come and join once everything goes back to normal.

21.01.2022 3 DAYS TO GO til our very first training session of the upcoming @gridironvictoria season! Today we shouting out and thanking our un-sung members, the volunteers, committee and those running the show behind the scenes! Today's fun fact is about none other than superstar all-rounder Shelley. Shelley runs the show behind the scenes but originated on the field as a rookie at the age of 42! This superstar was the oldest player in the league at the time and played until she was 46..., even training her first ever pre-season in a moon boot! 14.01.2022 Happy New year NRGC faithful. It's been a hot minute since we have posted on here but we are back and ready to take on what 2021 has in store for us! 13.01.2022 CLUB UPDATE // As we are returning to stage three lockdown restrictions, starting tonight at 11:59 PM, Wednesday 8 July 2020, the Northern Raiders Gridiron Club has suspended all club activities indefinitely until further notice. We would like to take the time to thank everyone for coming out to the first 2020 sessions on Sunday. It was short-lived while it lasted but stay hungry and be prepared to hit the ground running when we get given the green light to train again! To all our members, supporters and greater #footballfamily please please stay safe, do your part and follow government directives during this time so we can all come out of this healthy, happy and ready to tackle the upcoming 2020 season!

09.01.2022 ALL PLAYERS // Training's are back this Tuesday night! Time to wear off those Easter eggs and get ready for the upcoming GV season! Please note, training will be Tuesday's only for the next 4 weeks then move to Tuesday and Thursday's for the remainder of the season. Fun fact about Amanda, she is 1 of 5 girls in her family (the only to play sport) and teaches stand up paddle boarding! Whether you’re a returning player, football whizz or just wanna give something new a go come down to D R Atkinson Reserve on Sunday February 14th for some football fun. We’re even throwing a Valentine’s BBQ so feel free to bring your date and get them involved! Don't forget your boots, water bottle and clothing you can train in. 2021 is the perfect opportunity to try something new.
