24.01.2022 Lovely day at Bangalow markets today. Lots of encouraging chats, lots of signatures asking for more funding to extend the first sections. Lots of interest in the idea of a walking and cycling path.

22.01.2022 Sooo many walkers and riders on the Ballina foreshore shared path while we visited this week. This is what will happen when we have a rail trail through our villages and towns. Daily exercise opportunities for all!!

12.01.2022 Lismore City Councillors are currently considering which local projects they are likely to seek grant funding for. At present there is the joint Fed/State Bushfire Local Economic Recovery fund of $250 million of which Lismore is eligible to apply. This fund lists shared walking and cycling pathways as one of its first examples. It also lists tourism, jobs and business creation, regeneration activities, walking and mountain bike trails etc etc. These funds are to support the social and economic recovery of communities in 47 regional NSW Local Government Areas - and Lismore is one of them!! 12.01.2022 These are photos of Booyong Bridge with Corrosion virus.It is sad that the deniers of the true state of the disused railway line are supporting corrosion continuing to attack these old steel structures. The bridges need to be repurposed and used to be saved!

05.01.2022 Great vision for this sites . It will clean it up and make a great family spot - and guess what? It’s right next to the rail trail, Bexhill village and the Bexhill open air church!! (Ps the water was found ok to swim in by a recent water study)
