13.01.2022 I love how every student creates their own unique piece of magic. So much variety in colour selection as well as design. This art piece was created in a two day workshop by someone that had never cut glass before and that had a debilitating condition that impacted their hand strength but their determination to do this was so great they achieved their long held dream of learning this ancient art.

10.01.2022 I made a thing! love a challenge and I haven’t done much 3D work at all so this was lots of new tricks. Let’s not talk about hinges. Ever again. 06.01.2022 Love this design so much - inspired by @zarra_watea designed by myself. It’s the third time she has been recreated. This time as a dark skinned sea goddess with iridescent black hair.

03.01.2022 Rainy day at the shop. Cutting out one of my favourite glass designs again - The Sea Goddess. It’s part of my creative self care practice to take time out from repairs and commissions to work on something I love. Also good news: a new shipment of glass was delivered yesterday so it will be on the shelves within the week. So much new glass to play with. Very exciting.
