20.01.2022 A year ago we shared this post from the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital. It was a terrible time for our wildlife and for humans. 12 months on and the Northern Rivers still does not have its own wildlife hospital but significant progress has been made. We will be sharing some incredibly exciting announcements very, very soon.

Dr Kearney is one of the team, working behind the scenes to deliver our much needed community based Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital www.nrwh.org.au Thank you Eve Jeffery and the Byron Echo for the story.

15.01.2022 We are very sad to let you know that 'Lewis' the koala who was filmed being rescued from flames last week has been put to sleep to save him any more suffering at the Koala Hospital Port Macquarie. Our hearts are broken The fight goes on up the coast in the Northern Rivers to help all of our wildlife and our own local koala populations survive. If you want to support us by helping us to build a hospital, you can donate now via this link: https://members.nrwh.org.au/asp-products/donate/

02.01.2022 Anyone on properties with wallabies, kangaroos or or other wildlife in trouble after the fires will be interested to know that you are able to apply for Macropod pellets and other native animal foods through Animal Rescue Fireteam and Rescue Collective. Donations to The Rescue Collective have been sent all up and down the coast and we want to get supplies to anyone who need them. This form goes straight back to the Animal Rescue Fireteam and Rescue Collective. We encourage an...yone needing to feed wildlife in trouble in the firezones to fill in the form in the link below. https://rescuedpets.com.au/macrofooddrops/
