23.01.2022 Last year Volleyball WA claimed $1,500.00 in fines from NSVC. Majority of those fines were for referees having lapsed qualifications We can’t control what Volleyball WA do, but we can control what WE do... Save yourself the $50 fine, jump online and complete the required training and gain the qualification before the season starts. Unsure what you need, message the club and ask Link below:

23.01.2022 DIVISIONS UPDATE Hey everyone! We've had an update from VWA about the upcoming 2020 season; have a read below! ***WAVL Divisions Update***... Volleyball WA has confirmed the following regarding WAVL Divisions: - Games commence 12 July; - Potential grading day on 28 June; - 10 rounds until 13 September:* - All games will be played on a Sunday, no Friday nights necessary; and - Finals to commence on 20 September with the Grand Final to be held on 4 October. As a reminder, the State League and Reserve dates are as follows: - Games commence 28 June; - 14 rounds until 30 August; - Sunday games and 4 Friday night games; and - Finals to commence on 6 September with the Grand Final to be held on 20 September. We will be finalising fees ASAP and they'll be available in the How to Register guide @ https://northernstarsvolleyball.com/registration/. 16.01.2022 Season Update! Hi all! As you well may know, our indoor season is just around the corner with State League & Reserves starting their season THIS SUNDAY 28th June! Fixtures are available at https://vwa.bracketpal.com/index/1. State League players, please make sure you have completed full Registration (including club fees) by this Friday 26th June or you will not be allowed to take the court. We have four mens’ and two womens’ sides competing in the WAVL Divisions which kick... off on Sunday 12 July this makes Season 2020 one of the biggest for the club, an incredible achievement considering the disruptions we’ve had! We are pleased to announce that we have been able to finalise fees for Division team members; these will be emailed out but are also available on our website (www.northernstarsvolleyball.com) in the Registration or Doucments tabs. WAVL Division members have until Friday 10 July to complete the full registration process (Registration Form, VWA Membership and Club Fees). Training is ongoing at ECU Sport & Fitness Centre; between us and your coaches we will make sure you stay up to date if anything changes. Best of luck to all teams, especially those starting up this Sunday!

10.01.2022 Hey all! We hope you're all staying safe as restrictions begin to ease across WA. At this stage the club is not ready to resume indoor training, but we are doing our best to try and find safe alternative arrangements. To help us prepare, we have sent preliminary team selections via email with a link to an EOI form; please fill this out as soon as possible so we can hit the ground running! 08.01.2022 A Message From Our President Dear Athletes, I write to inform you of our clubs’ position regarding the COVID-19 situation. As of now (22/3/2020) the advice given by VWA is in line with that of the government: all indoor gatherings must have less than 100 people in attendance and now have a density of no more than one person per four square metres of floor space. It is with sincere regret that I have made the decision to halt our training until further notice. I can not in... good conscience endorse any group volleyball activities at this time. Over the next week, I’ll endeavour to assign you to a coach who can recommend at-home exercises and act as a contact for you during these unprecedented times. I encourage you to stay connected with your friends from the club and to look out for each other. Keep an eye on your emails as that’s how we’ll get updates out. 06.01.2022 TRIALS TONIGHT ARE ON! Please be advised that WAVL Division Trials for Men (including any male junior players) will still be running - we have received the OK from Volleyball WA and Prendiville College to run tonight's session as it is considered extremely low risk in the current climate. Please make sure you follow basic hygiene rules that relate to these sessions to minimise your risk;... - Wash your hands frequently with soap and water (at least before and after trials tonight!) - Cover your cough and sneeze by using a tissue or using the pit of your elbow - Try to avoid touching your mouth, nose or eyes where possible - Do not share towels or drink bottles with other people. If you are unwell, please do not attend tonight's trials and just send us an email to let us know. Otherwise, see you tonight at Prendiville 7-9pm!
