22.01.2022 A 2017 study by The Royal Childrens Hospital found that young people aged 13 to 18 spend on average, 6.2 hours a day on screen-based activity at home. The vast majority of Australian teenagers aged 13 to 18 were reported to own a smartphone and/or tablet. The study also found that parents who reported high levels of screen-based use themselves were more likely to report having children with high levels of screen-based use.
