22.01.2022 Last year the Alice Springs Show celebrated 60 years - one of the Territory's oldest and much loved iconic shows. In 1960 a committee of 29 civic-minded volunteers with more enthusiasm than resources had a vision to see Alice Springs host an annual agricultural and pastoral event promoting the best of our region and providing the local community with a chance to showcase a diverse range of goods and services. The Alice Springs Show was born. This year the committee had to close the gates but continued the tradition with a Virtual Show, proving that innovation continues to this day.

09.01.2022 You may have seen him practicing his performances on street corners in Darwin City, or perhaps you've seen his strange nature/rubbish artworks on roadsides fro...m Casuarina to the Arnhem Highway. There's no doubt Trevor Jenkins is a true character of the Top End and also a previous entrant of the Music Talent Quest. He's taken previous advice on board and his original performance was quirky, conveyed a message and surprisingly catchy. He also stayed on stage, supplied his own backing tape (of himself) and stayed within the 4 minute limit which all earned him 3rd place in our Open Category. Take a listen and we are sure you will agree we saw the best of Trevor at our Music Talent Quest. Thanks to @Litchfield Council for sponsoring this fantastic event!
