24.01.2022 It's been a calm September for all of the NUA family this year, but October is about to get big for one of our own. Congratulations to Jesse Baird who has had a remarkable debut year at AFL level. Since leaving us and moving north to pursue his acting & presenting career, he has also continued to earn opportunities between the sticks. Tune in to the doggies v saints game and watch him do his best work... we know Heats will be proud even if the dogs don't get up.

22.01.2022 Funeral Details: The funeral for Bevan Hall is to be held tomorrow (Wed 7th) at 10am. Due to the current restrictions and environment the family will be live streaming the service. 08.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we inform our umpiring family that former DVFLUA member Bevan Hall passed away last week. Our thoughts and wishes go out to his family. Bevan was a loved character by all within the group over the many years he umpired. Not only well respected within the umpiring group, the many friends within clubland always appreciated seeing him turn up on game day. Throughout his career he was an advocate for nurturing younger umpires and always inspired bot...h on and off field. Bevan went above and beyond to ensure the social side of umpiring meant just as much as the on field skills. In more recent times, the friendly face would occasionally pop into the umpire rooms at Eltham or Monty to give a re-assuring pep talk before the bounce. Bevan you will be greatly missed! We have no doubt that up above you'll get straight into organising the social events & maybe even a trip.

03.01.2022 With some of enjoying the time off this year, some ventured West to keep their season alive. Well done to Josh Forner who has happily settled in over in Adelaide. Today he is looking after the boundary in the Div 2 A Grade Grand Final for the Adelaide Football League between Tea Tree Gully Vs. Sacred Heart. Respect to the yellow gear being worn for the pre-game warm up to honour his close mate Charlie Scott.
