10.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Following the Federal Governments announcement late last night regarding the enforced closure of licensed venues, restaurants and gyms, combined with ongoing restrictions on indoor and outdoor gatherings, The Northgate Community and Sports Club will be closed from 12pm today and all associated club activities cancelled. The Northgate Community and Sports Club committee, along with our sporting clubs coaches and volunteers, will continue to monitor developments around the COVID-19 pandemic and will advise plans to reopen and resume club activities as soon as possible. 04.01.2022 Business as usual With the incident of COVID-19, we are placing the utmost importance on personal & public health. Please do not come to the club if you are feeling unwell. We have put in place procedures to ensure the safety of all our employees and customers. We will be cleaning & sanitising all common areas, including our pokie machines, frequently. We do ask that you use our sanitising stations when entering all areas and where possible using paywave and ATM.... Changes that have been put in place is most notably our famous Salad & Veg bar. In the interest of everybodys health, we will be providing individual salad bowls at lunch times. Salad or Veg bowls at dinner times on Thursday and Friday nights with a $2 discount on the main meal price. We receive daily updates in regards to all and are following every guideline that has been suggested including a maximum of 100 people inside the club at any one time. We ask that you do the same and hopefully these changes wont be around too long. Lets get through this together and help each other out and continue to support your locals. See more

04.01.2022 With the Premier’s announcement on new restrictions to licensed venues, the club has had to re-introduce the following changes for at least the next two weeks. The club will be open from 10.30am with a maximum of 100 people - this includes both areas. The kitchen will be open for lunches Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 11.30am. The kitchen will closed for dinner meals. BINGO will run as normal from 11.30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday... 8-Ball may be played but you must remain seated when it’s not your turn No standing while drinking inside or outside. Sanitisers must be used on each and every entry to the club. It is vital that all customers continue to enjoy the club to help us keep our doors open. Whilst saying that, it is important that we all feel safe during this time and ask that if you do feel unwell please consider public safety and refrain from coming to the club. This year has been a tough one for everyone and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our members for their ongoing support and also our staff for making each transition run smoothly. 03.01.2022 26th May 2020 To all our Club Members, Patrons, Supporters, Players and the wider community, We want to extend to you how much you are all missed around the place. To see our club empty, not see your smiling faces, or be able to serve you your usual has been gut wrenching to say the least. ... Weve been working really hard with some major improvements going on inside and out of the club, and cant wait to share these with you at the re-opening of the place you all like to call home! However, its not as simple as it seems, we want to be able to do this in a safe and practical way that suits everyones needs. Opening with such restrictions in place right now just would not feel right for you and us both. Once we have a final decision made on when and how this will look for our club specifically, we will be certain to share this with you.
